Missed posting the last few weeks, but last night was:

1st/2nd - Andy Farias - Bomberman (and I saw a Scroll Thief on the table)

I would love to see this list. In Bochum we had a guy playing quite successfully an UW control build with Thiefs and Swords but without any Salvagers combo. So this sounds like an improvement  Very Happy

My reputation for 2/4's precedes me. It was fair of Matt to assume I'd be Bombing it up, but alas, I switched to 1/3's exclusively. It would be more accurate to describe it sort of as an UBPhid-type homebrew.

First off, congrats to Eric on the birth of his son!  See you back next week.

1st *- Andy Farias - Jace Control
2nd  - Matt Macauley - Metalworker Mud
3rd - Bill Rosa - Bob/Jace Control
4th - Jessie Martin - Gush Storm

Play of the night:  Tie between a Force of Will pitching Foil Jace on a Necropede and Bill spilling his card box all over the floor followed by him spilling his dice all over the floor.

Last week I split with Adam playing Dredge, I'm pretty sure Chris playing some sort of Gush was also in the Top 4, no clue who snuck into the last spot. So it looked something like:

1st/2nd: Adam Brennan - Dredge
1st/2nd: Andy Farias - Jace Control (U/bBS)
3rd?: Chris Roberts - Gush Storm
4th: - ?

Hopefully someone still reads these...

1st - Eric Dupuis - Gush Tendrils
2nd - Jessie Martin - Gush TPS
3rd - Matt Macauley - Jace Control
4th - Adam Brennan - Dredge

And because I thought it was fun, a picture of Eric (Happy Birthday Eric!) going off with Storm on Jessie -

They were a gift from SCG, and they work just fine.  My last sleeves I used for like, a year.  To give you an idea the condition of the cards I actually play with, that Mana Crypt, that white area, that's not glare.  That's the physical card.  I keep the good cards to trade to everyone else Very Happy

I got Jesse's his Beta Fastbond there was from SCG.  Incredible deal.

Now that you're playing red, have you tested Rites of Initiation, or is it too much to ask of your deck to have 2 Infect creatures in play?

Just curious, in Gush heavy meta has anyone played with or against Tunnel Ignus?
I remember seeing an Ankh of Mishra artifact deck some time back but don't recall ever seeing Tunnel Ingus.dec since its printing.
I mean, should be good anyway since everybody but Shops/Bazaar decks pack fetchlands, right?

I have lost one game in two tournaments.  Probe is insane.  If I didn't have so much stuff to do, I'd write an article about it.  BTW, Dredge with Probe - Watch out, it's a monster!  It speeds the deck up, and Cabal Therapy gets better!

It's always available at Monday Night Vintage.  Seriously though, I don't have it typed up currently.  I'll get a working copy on MWS at some point and bring it over.  Which list are you interested in?

This is the frequently requested list.  It has been unreal, providing 2 turn 1 wins in over 3 tournaments, all 3 of which I swept.  I had to play out both Monday Night Vintage events, each being 4 rounds.  In 2 Monday Night Vintage and one Myriad event, I have lost zero matches, with the deck being explosive enough to win when there is a window, and having enough control elements to sit back on card advantage and wait until there is zero chance of a fumble.

Looks pretty close to what I was running before I stopped again. What did you cut for the probes? Looks like the took the place of repeals in my list.
