Fisher seems likely, JACO is some kind of bitch (he didn't even show up to the ICBM Open this weekend), and we will see about the others.  Jamison of RG Beats fame has expressed an interest as well so I don't doubt I will have at least 1 or more people joining me.

It honestly depends on what my school schedule looks like.  I would love to go but I have class Friday until 11am and Monday I have class at 9am.  I'll look into it.

Well, he can ONLY get letters, and they are all read by his drill instructors before getting  to him.  So I sent him a letter.  Here it is, exact quote:

"Dan.
I'm not sure how you got that letter out to me without your drill instructors knowing, but that was awesome!  Yeah, they sound like complete douchebags, I agree with you on that. It's funny they don't know about your binge drinking or drug abuse.  Man, the things they would do to you if they found out!  It sounds like those pussies won't work you too hard, so enjoy your cake walk. Man, the Marines aren't what they used to be."

Heh.  Joke's on him.

I would love to fly out from arizona for this event, because it promises to be one hell of an event. Unfortunately, I dont want to get a hotel room for an evening just for that. o.O Call me lazy I guess.

Love the new ride LHC, will you be bringing it to the event?

Wow, haven't been on TMD in a while and didn't realize this thread was getting so much action.

I agree that the Chariot picture is pretty ridic., however, there is something very unsettling about that photo.  Can't put my finger on it just yet.

We can only hope. I wonder how much money LHC would save not having to purchase gasoline. LHC, can we get a cat food to gas ratio expenditure?

I will also be bringing my Peasant Highlander deck to this event if anyone is interested. I have never played the format before so the deck might not be up to par with all the experienced Peasant Highlanders. You have to play to get good though.

I would encourage anybody who has a deck to bring it, and if anybody has questions on the rules feel free to contact me.

I would guess that the biggest hurdle is getting a miles per pound of cat food number from Jimmy.  He probably doesn't have one because his cats are probably on some performance enhancing food additives.

I'm definitely looking forward to this weekend!

we're feeding them small children.   They get the best performance that way.

It is critical that the children be fed only milk and be kept in tiny stalls to provide the most tender and juicy meat.  Jimmy's cats can be quite picky and you don't want to get on their bad side.

They days were both a blast, despite vintage's very small turnout of 10.

day 1 I played UWBG Landstill. Holy F*** is this deck boring.

Round 1:  GB Survival 2-0
Round 2:  GB Goyf/Tombstalker  1-1-1
Round 3:  Dreadstill 1-0-1
Round 4: ANNOYING UWB landstill player 1-2 *He tried to draw 4 off standstill, and game-lossed.  His deck had FOUR decree's in it from what I could tell, bad time.
Round 5: bye at 2-1-1.  I kid you not.  Everyone below me already had a bye or dropped to play the side event.

So I came in 9th.

Day 2: I played UBr Tezzeret
Round 1: Demars-  Tezzeret 2-0
Round 2: Local -Shop Aggro 2-1
Round 3:  Anthony Michales - gws.dec  2-1
Round 4: Chris from Cananda - ANT 2-0

Top 4 split the time walk (Myself, McCarthy, Anthony Michaels, and a local)

Then we had a Side Event, single elimination for $5 and a Timetwister

Round 1:  Chris again with ANT 2-1
Round 2: Jimmy McCarthy with Tezz 2-0
Round 3:  Paul Mystriano with Ritual Tezz (We split the twister, which was destroyed, and went to dinner).

Paying for my trip is always a plus.
