Awesome idea, I'd love to play it once.

Yes,Tarmogoyf is probably better than Chameleon Colossus, but comparing it to Tarmogoyf is like comparing your girlfriend to Carmen Electra - one's versatile and reliable, the other's just big and cheap.(And you'd run both if you could get away with)

Am I correct that policehq vs. KINGKOOPA is the last match in round 1?

At this pace, we'll finish the tournament in 2013. There must be a better way to do this.

Should only give people 72 hours to play their matches.

My mini-report:  I'm playing Crushing Chamber

Shockwave wins the die roll and plays 3 mana sources and a solid vintage card.

I play something and it gets countered.

He gets a win condition onto the field after playing good vintage cards, and a strage card ends up in his grave.
I put him as playing deck archetype-X

I start getting stuff on the board, and might actually pull out of this one, but my computer freezes.
Shockwave said he had answers in his hand to secure the win.

Game 2: I go broken with Genesis Chamber, Ornithopter, 2 Frogs and 3 myr tokens.

He plays something and passes.

I topdeck Cranial Plating and swing for 16.

He draws a card and scoops.  The cards he played were very different that what I expected from what I saw game 1, although game 2 was over pretty quick.

game 3 I get a nice hand of multiple wastes, and eventually threats.

He keeps playing lands, and then deals with my whole board. I am left with nolthing, but the cards he playe4d I did not expect in the slightests.

Plus, I had no idea how to sideboard against what I saw.

Nice deck ShockWave!

What?!?!? Really? I would have loved to play in this! This will teach me to pay attention to whats going on in the community forum more often! When would there be another one like this going on? I am most certainly going to update my MWS files to be current if this is going to be a pattern.

Guys, this tourney has been going on for almost a month. Seriously, can we get things moving a bit? At this pace, the tournament will span different B&R periods.
