2) Will Paul Mastriano 3peat and continue his streak of tournament victories?
I didnt know this was even questionable.  Of course I will win this one, too!  I'm in the lab trying to come up with something new so I'm not overly predictable.  I got some CE cards that I want to play, so that will affect my decisions, I think.

You still can't play Chaos Orb, so I'm not too frightened of the doors opened to you by CE. After getting back into the Vintage groove in Pittsburgh, I'm ready to take this thing down.

Maybe.

Or maybe not.

It's gonna be sick either way though.

For those of you that have one, bring your Peasant Highlander Deck.

Twaun, I hope you bring something a little better this time around!

If I go, I will bring mine. It is unsleeved and mostly proxied, but hey, it's a Peasant Highlander deck!

Gawd, coming up with something within proxy limits will be a beast...

My money's on Paul, given that from what I can tell I'm the only one who has even been able to take a match off him since Chicago.  Also, Jerry playing an awful sideboard is not even a question.

With regards to sandwich punch, neither Mark nor I are in.  Personally, I don't mind getting a free meal from Thurman's.

This should be an exciting tournament.  I'm interested to see if the metagame changes because of the lower proxy limit.

I should have a bunch of Standard cards on me so I may or may not have a Cruel Ultimatum or Nicol Bolas, Planeswalker in my sideboard.  Man, it'd be so fun to win a game with Cruel Ultimatum in Vintage.

Hazard is a Marine.  Twaun's eating lead for sure.  Even his Asian Hip Hop Battle Suit won't protect him.

I was asked to be a groomsmen in my sisters wedding this weekend so I won't be able to make it. I wish the best of luck to everyone who is in the tourney.

EDIT: If you punch Yangtime's sandwich you have a 99% chance of having a butter knife stuck in your neck.

Twaun, we all know that you're an only child and that you were basically raised by a Japanese family, the very one from whom you stole the Asian Hip Hop Battle Suit.  Are you going to a Kumite this weekend instead?  I bet you'll have to show off your skills at the Dim Mak when you go.

EDIT: If you punch Yangtime's sandwich you have a 99% chance of having a butter knife stuck in your neck.
This may or may not be 99% true.  I'd recommend asking Soly.

Jerry once told me he was a pacifist.  That is, until I punched his Sandwich.   He is the asian Bruce Banner.

For those of you who are Meandeck Open regulars, it has been TOO LONG.   All of that Legacy business earlier this year got in the way of our regular Vintage tournaments.   So don't miss this!

If you are new to Vintage, this is actually an excellent opportunity to come out of the woodwork and try your hand in Vintage.    The players at the meandeck opens are VERY friendly; it's just our decks that are MEAN Twisted Evil

This is also one of the first tournaments east of California in the USA that will allow Collector's Edition Cards!  Two years from now, it will be standard practice.  Come experience a bit of Vintage history!

I have a couple of pieces of CE power I can loan out, and I think only one is claimed, so PM me and I'll see how I can help you out!

Confirmed:

ME Smile
Paul Mastriano (who DOESN'T Want to Beat Paul Wink )
Matt Hazard
Doug Linn !!
Jerry Yang
WILEY (the curator of the Vintage Encyclopedia!!)
DAVE DOUGHERTY!!!

DO NOT MISS THIS!!!!!

The Top 4 split.

Top 4 was Tezzeret, BUG Fish, Loam, and something else. (It had Force, Drain, etc. Not sure on the win conditions. Maybe Tez?) I'm sure actual information will be up soon.

Also, I Sandwich Punched Steve.
