Hello Everyone! I will be holding my second tournament in Hadley, MA at X9 Games on Sunday June 7th! Thank you everyone who came out to the last tournament and I hope you can al make it to this one. We will be starting at 12 noon again and the tournament will be located at X9 games in the Hampshire Mall off Rte. 9 in Hadley. Entry will again be $10 and prizes will be based on attendance. If 30 or more people show I will give away a Mox Pearl for first along with a bunch of dope stuff for the rest of the top 8. For less than that there will be a bunch of stuff to chose from including (hopefully) a Beta Time Vault, a set of Thoughseize’s, a set of Force of Will’s, $70-100 in cash and some other cool stuff including some kind of door prize and these prizes will be based on attendance. We will allow ten proxies again, and it should be clear what the cards are and impossible to tell from the back that they are proxies. Also after some discussion I will be putting up a prize for the best budget zero proxy deck and probably something for the most innovative deck as voted on by the players or something like that. Again to reiterate: Vintage Tournament X9 Games Hadley, MA at the Hampshire Mall on Rte. 9 next to Cinemark. I'm hoping I can get a good enough deal on the Beta Timevault to garuntee it for first but I can now garuntee an English Mana Drain and a set of thoughtseizes/ FOW's for first/second with the possiblity of a set of Saga foil Duresses getting thrown in there if I can get a good enough deal on them. Anyhow, bring some friends and come out for another fun sunday of Vintage in Hadley!

I am sincerely hoping I can get my proxy count down to ten in time to be able to play in this tournament! I'm still sad I only could observe the last one, but it still was a good time anyway!

Sweet, we are going to be playtesting at X9 Games on Tuesday from about 6-10pm. Im hoping Dan and Sam Richardson, along with Chris T. and John B. will show up so if you have a chance, come out and play some tune up matches to get ready for June 7th! I've been working to get together a bunch of sweet stuff for prizes so this should be another fun event and Greg has agreed to HJ again so everything should run smoothly.

It has been sugested to me that it would be fun if I did some gunslinging with people who finish thier rounds early. I can give away pack to those who beat me but this is vintage. Ill be looking over the next couple of days for more interesting things to give away but if anybody has any ideas on 2-3 dollar cards that would be fun let me know.

I pretty much tore them all down the last few days. We only have two decks together enough to play. It's funny, with all the creatures swinging these days, your signature Rector Illusions Donate might be good. |
