With one week away, I have started looking into busses between Columbus and Chicago. However, I'd love to get a PM about splitting a hotel/motel/dorm/couch with some people to minimize costs. Of course, I'd still kill a hobo if someone could help out the ride situation.

I just reread part of this thread after not reading for a week and for a minute I thought I was reading 4chan instead of TMD....

You ordered a pre-con from StarCity too! Sweet!

I got a pic of LordHomerCat and Soly test driving their new MTG mobile.

Dude, I remember when Yangtime took that! I got ticketed for reckless operation of a motorized vehicle and the police tried to confiscate his camera. Yangtime wasn't having any of it so he roundhoused 3 police officers in a row, Chuck Norris style. That's how he got on Meandeck. Stephen Q. Menendian was like "This dude is so badass! We gotz to recruit'em before our chins meet the back of his heel." A few phone calls later and Yangtime was signing the Meandeck contract.

I think it was with the same quill that LordHomerCat used when he signed it in his own blood.

What's wrong with signing in blood?  It doesn't hurt that bad and who needs a soul anyway.

There is way to many dudesweats chained to that vampire to represent the members of GWS. Something more appropriate would be.

Just so folks know:
I will be onsite on Friday setting up, playing EDH, buying, selling, and hanging out, so feel free to stop by.  I'll probably be there from noon to 9 PM or so

The safety word is "Tinker."

This event is going to be awesome!  I'm coming up from central Illinois with at least one other person in tow, hopefully more!

I have officially secured a ride and lodging for this event, and am very much looking forward to an entire weekend of playing Vintage.  It seems like most of the best around are coming out to play at this event, so it should be an extremely fun time.

I am interested in seeing how many times people forget they can't sacrifice Qasili Pridemage with damage on the stack this weekend...  It will be interesting to see how M10 rules work in an actual tournament setting.  I know that since I started play-testing with M10 rules I am at least +25 life over the course of a large sample size of games just from not burning off Sol Ring alone.  (turn 1 Mox, Underground Sea, Sol Ring, Merchant Scroll /  Demonic Tutor).

Also, my Birthday is Sunday!  So, everybody should remember to bring me Gifts.  Paul Mastriano won the RIW Black Lotus tournament last year on his birthday--so, hopefully that little meandeck tradition of gaining the keyword ability "Unbeatable" on the anniversary of one's birth will continue to hold true this weekend!

Anyways, can't wait to get to Chicago and play some cards!

Cheers
