Where did you get that from? Did you buy that or did you have it made?

I'll be doing lots extra prizes for this event, which will not take away from the prize pool.  I'm going to focus on the pre-registered players for sure, so be make certain you contact me online if your name is not in the list of pre-reg's.  I can't give away any details, but let's just say I have extras that I haven't given out yet.

Do we get more of those wonderful 20 card pre cons?!?!?!?!

Also, Pre reg please

I'm SOOOOO excited for this.

I'm skipping work for it.  (I requested it off, but I guess that doesn't matter to whoever makes the schedule, cuz I'm 0 for 3 with the requested days off)

If you're referring to the lotus picture, the honors goes to Dan Cunningham and his madness.

Be sure to pre-reg by Friday.  I'll be giving away an unbelievable amount of extra random prizes at this event, and people who have pre-registered have an even greater chance to win.  I've got tons of cards that will make excellent prizes - from Judge foils, to eternal staples to horned cheetah!

If the future will be there, I imagine I should come and win a lotus.

I'm in.

35 players, I got the bye round 1 then went 0-2 right after in true fashion.

That will teach me not to build a deck at 7:45 am the day of the tournament.

Thank you to everyone who played today.  It was great to see the community come together for an event like this.  I'll be posting a TO Report next week.  Congrats to everyone who made Top 8, it was a very impressive field!

This was a very well run and fun tournament.  We got through 6 rounds as fast as I have ever seen a TO push a tournament.  Good prize support and a good play area.  Highly recommended.

EDIT: Learned to spell

My friends couldn't make it and when I woke up Sat morning with a hangover and low on cash, I made the call to go back to sleep.  Even despite it beng a 2.5 hour ride by myself, I kinda regretted it later during the day.

Who/what top 8ed?

RIP Mogg Fanatic...at least you are still better than Fire Bowman!!!

I was once asked on MWS, what the highest I ever finished at a TMD Open was.  I replied, "I've never played in a Waterbury.  I was then called "A TOTAL NOOB!"

Top 4 was 3 Bob-Tezz lists that were UBr, and one other Tezz list (which I believe was UBg).

I played a UBr bob tezz list and sb that diakonov, grand inquisitor, wolf, and I developed for Gencon (with help from others especially dan cunningham). It's nothing earth-shattering but pretty well tuned. GI split the finals at the 60 man gencon preliminary with the initial version, wolf went 5-1-1 at vintage worlds with it but wound up in 9th on breakers, and I won this lotus yesterday. The second and third finishers at ELD were wolf and dan cunningham, who were the only two players also running it.

Thanks so much to ELD for running a typically awesome event (typical for him not in general), and to everyone who came. I'll get my report up soon.
