If Baneslayer Angel is fair, I wonder what kind of color shifts one could get away with on a similar creature.  For example:

Baneslayer Behemoth
3GG
5/5
Trample, Vigilance
G: Regenerate Baneslayer Behemoth
Protection from Wizards and from Zombies

I figure Trample lines up with Flying (it's evasion), Vigilance with Lifelink (lets you preserve some life by being able to block), and Regeneration with First Strike (let's it live through combat with similarly sized dudes).  The protection abilities I just tied to the most common blue and black creatures that don't fly, since giving it something like Protection from Sphinxes and from Vampires seems like it would be kind of pointless.  Although I think the protection ability is probably not too relevant on this guy.

Note that this costs the same as Beacon Behemoth.  I don't think this card is appropriate at all, but I'd like to hear the argument against it, because it sure seems fair given that Baneslayer Angel exists.

Current Wording:
Baneslayer Behemoth
3GG
5/5
Trample, Vigilance
G: Regenerate Baneslayer Behemoth
Protection from Wizards and from Zombies
