Here is an idea for a decklist I have been testing. Abuses dredge and Tortured Existence to smash with a fat flying Psychatog.

In playing this deck, is seems like to want to be combo/control.

Here is the list as is stands so far:

4 Tortured Existence

Dredge:
4 Golgari Brownscale
4 Stinkweed Imp
2 Street Wraith (U)

Beatdown
2 Psychatog (U)

Toolbox
1 Wonder (U)

Spells
4 Careful Study
4 Brainstorm
4 Deep Analysis
4 Duress
4 Mana Leak
4 Diabolic Edict

Land
12 Swamps
8 Island

Sideboard
3 Crypt Rats
4 Blue Elemental Blast
4 Ostracize
4 Aether

The SB is very much in progress.

Please, hit me with your criticism

Street Wraith seems weak to me.  Your uncommon slots are supposed to be really strong points for your deck.  He's really only a cantip that loads the grave.  I guess with Tortured Existence he's cute, but not worth it imo.  Maybe up the Wonder/Psychatog count?  Maybe 1 Lightning Grieves for your finisher Pyschatog?

Since you're running a dredge deck, you graveyard should get to a decent size most games.  How about Rune Snag over Mana Leak--it'll usually be stronger.

I've found that Ravnica Karoos can really strengthen a two-color Peasant deck.  How about -2 Island -2 Swamp +4 Dimir Aqueduct.  They may seem slow, but they only slow you down the turn you drop them.  They also help when you miss a later land drop.  I think they're worth testing.

Diabolic Edict is very good, but how about some targeted removal?  Rend Flesh is  {1} more than Edict, but it can serve as pinpoint removal (it hits about 99% of all creatures in the format)l.  Maybe -1/2 Edict for +1/2 Rend Flesh.

Brainstorm always seemed underwhelming in Peasant.  What about Accumulated Knowledge?  It generates more card advantage, and using dredge you can quickly cheat it up to 3/4 cards.  I really like AK in this spot.

Overall, I think it is a cool idea.

Since I posted the first iteration of this deck, I have done quite a bit of playtesting.
Here is the recent form of this deck:

Dredgeatog

9 Swamp
9 Island

4 Tortured Existence

4 Stinkweed Imp
4 Golgari Brownscale
2 Street Wraith (U)
2 Psychatog (U)
1 Wonder (U)
1 Drift Of Phantasms
1 Crypt Rats

4 Brainstorm
4 Careful Study
4 Deep Analysis
4 Mana Leak
4 Rune Snag
4 Duress

SB:

3 Crypt Rats
4 Ostracize
4 Hydroblast
4 Hymn to Tourach

The main problems is discovered with my original decklist was that in decks that weren’t packing a lot of creatures (MBC, IsoBurn, ProsTides) I had four dead cards in Diabolic Edict, and nearly every time I had a Diabolic Edict, I wanted it to be more countermagic. The current list has plenty of counter magic and draw, so I can make sure I have a counterspell in my hand every turn. Basically this decks will play as combo/control, having you sit there til you know you can swing with a lethal ‘Tog.

Card Choices:

Brainstorm Vs. Accumulated Knowledge: I like Brainstorm because for U plus some dredgers I can easily load my graveyard with anywhere from 12-15 cards which can equal 6-8 damage, a huge advantage in Peasant, which is by it’s nature is a very fast format. I haven’t tested AK, however, I think it could be very good. Thanks for the suggestion!

Street Wraith: This card plus a Stinkweed Imp and Tortured Existence is amazing! B, Pay two life: Dredge five and return a Stinkweed Imp to your hand. I think that this ability is crucial in that you can load up your yard fast, without wasting a draw spell on dredging. However, I do agree that -2 Street Wratih, +1 Wonder and +Psychatog could be very good. I will test this.

Dimir Aqueduct: I like the idea, but it appears that it might be too slow. This deck is already slow by Peasant standards, and if you want stay alive you need to have a land drop every turn in order to outpace your opponent with countermagic. I will test it tho.

Rend Flesh: While I really like having a butt load of countermagic, I can see how if they resolve a creature like Goblin Lackey, Priest of Titania, then I simply must have targeted removal. I like the card, and I will definitely do some testing with it.
