To be fair, I really wouldn't call it a "fit" as much as a "fuck, I can't believe I just got stone-nut draw'ed by oath.".   I even said I disliked playing games I never was actually in.   ANDDDD you have seen me years ago pitch a real fit, so I'd like to think I was much better and more toned down.

And also, my deck is ahead against both Bug Fish and other time vault decks, which is why I played it over Time Vault.

I didn't take it too seriously, but I still felt a need to clarify.

Your twister resolved because I was holding my lotus in game 2.  If I had played it, I could have Drained + Paid for both your Spell Pierces.

Dude, do you have to refer to me as "enemy"?  That sounds so unfriendly in a Gentleman's sport such as ours...  "Opponent" would be much more ... congenial.  Wink

I'm the guy from Rd 2 who got confidanted to death in the first game.  You have a remarkable memory to recall the plays with so much detail; that was an epic battle (and very swingy, as you put it).  I think countering your D Tutor with the Glen was the right play as you only had 2 cards in hand IIRC, so I knew I could counter both as long as neither was your Oath Creature.  I was worried about you tutoring for the creature and playing it, as you had a sizable mana situation including Lotus on the board.

Overall the tournament was a blast...  I loved seeing Great Sable Stag in the T8.

you were right, since you countering it was only an "out" for me in the sense that it would make you take 2 more dconf hits, that would have to be 6+ or I die in combat. odds were highly in your favor.
