So, this shindig is tomorrow, who is attending? More importantly, who is winning?

Any idea on where the post-tourney party's gonna be? May I suggest Phil's Tavern? It's about 5 miles from the store.

Jake Gans will be in our car, so if they're id'ing people there's no way in hell we're getting in. I vote for a generic place with junk on the wall. And Messieurs Hangley and Pollack will not be joining us. So there need not necessarily be a trophy to be won.

Though I've never been to Phil's, all evidence from the website indicates it is Jake Gans-friendly. FWIW, I'd much prefer Phil's over a random chain restaurant.
And because I have work tomorrow, I won't be doing much drinking myself either.

I went 5-1 in the Swiss for 2nd after rd 6, behind only Beaver at 5-0-1. MUD was a lot of fun and felt solid all day. I beat Tezz 3 times, Oath, and Monte, and lost to Mono-Red Stax.
Obv I lost immediately in the top 8 to Noble Fish. Game 3, Kyle was on the play and ran out Mox, Mox, Land, Lotus, Noble Hierarch, Meddling Mage on Tangle Wire, and Trygon Predator. His three draws were Strip Mine, Wasteland, and Daze. Must be, right?

Nick, this event was a ton of fun, and I don't remember half of it. Well, half of the night.

2 Fish, 3 Workshops, 2 TPS-esque decks, and 1 other I didn't see.

I believe it was 2 TPSesque 3 Noble Fish 3 Shop Decks
There wasn't much dredge (at least not near the top tables) And not much Oath either Tons of UGW Fish. Tezzerators floated around the top but couldn't seem to get by fish decks which were almost universally packing maindeck THadas, Katakis, Trygons, Mindcensor's + Usual goodies.
Beaver ran unbelievably hot.

Wow, it really looks like Fish decks are "in" these days along with Shop decks for obvious reason.. Vault/Key dominance definitely gone. Interesting, how fast the meta adapted.
