*sigh*

Bazaar Trader, 1R
Creature -- Goblin
1/1
T: Target player gains control of target artifact, creature or land that you control.

Obvious "combo" is obvious.  Attack with beefy 6/6, then Donate as desired.

Given the presence of Immortal Coil in standard, I thinkk there are better combos.

Given the fragility of 1/1's, I'm not sure any of them are worth it, but they may be. i will be testing Grixis control with combo finishes and the new U counter alogn with Negates.

Maybe a good use for this would be to run it in the board to come in against aggro and block Goyfs...just a 6/6 wall with flying for 4 mana until he can somehow get himself killed

WoW! ...oh, wait it's a reversed platinum angel... I was excited at first but the more I thought about it the more I hated this card.
I thought maybe this would be playable in type2 in some sort of control build...nope. There are way better finishers already.
plus, I don't think this is any kind of finisher at all....well, maybe for your opponents.
They should have just printed Tombstalker.(I would have said re-print but future sight was a view into the possible future...I honestly expected them to print Shah of Naar isle in worldwake.)
Abyssal Persecutor gets three thumbs down. Just my honest opinion.

I think you#re looking at this all wrong.  I think it'd be best in something that would give it a massive power boost and/or allow it to damge your opponent for a ton.

I'm looking at a B/G/r or B/R/g deck with Berserks and Flings.  Ideally, what you want is to cast this on the first or second turn, the Berserk and Fling this second/third turn.

So, you're looking at a list like:

Mana:

4 Verdant Catacombs
3 Bloodstained Mire/Wooded Foothills
4 Bayou
3 Badlands
2 Swamp
1 Lotus
1 Jet
1 Ruby
1 Emerald
4 DRit.

Beats:

4 Abyssal Persecutor
3 Negator
3 Goyf
4 Bob

Spells:

4 Cabal Therapy
4 Thoughtseize
4 Fling
4 Berserk
4 SDT
4 REB/Null Rod

SB:

4 Leyline of the Void
4 Null Rod/Ancient Grudge
4 Nature's Spiral
3 Umezawa's Pointed Stick of DOOM

(And yes, I know it looks like crap, but hey - it's my first time creating a decfk based on a card not yet legal.  :p)

Exile Ancestral and turn Tiago sideways.

So, it's a two card combo that takes 5 mana and a "pass the turn" to win.  May I suggest playing Tezzeret instead: he's a 5 mana one card combo in blue.  Also, he doesn't have the text "You cannot win."

The best (and only conceivable) vintage use of this card is as something you Donate at instant speed to prevent your opponent from winning.  Or with a future (vintage legal) printing along the lines of Evil Presents.

Any interest in putting together/maintaining a Github Git project that hosts proven decks of all major archetypes and documents their changes over time?
