We're three weeks out from the event and everything looks great.  Plus, the chances of a blizzard have decreased significantly.  This, however, probably also means that we're due for tanker fire on the LIE #3.

It looks like Nick just copy/pasted from the last one as the post says he's announcing NYSE VI, so I'm guessing It's for a Time Walk.

I haev a first turn Llanowar Elf. He casts Ancestral, a slightly stronger card from the same set.

Counselor, you may think you know about James Hangley, but you don't.

http://www.facebook.com/#!/group.php?v=info&ref=ts&gid=3284122251

That should give you a rough idea.

James Hangley is the God of Thunder.

In all seriousness though, I believe the "trophy" is a Millennium Falcon hanging on the wall of the Fridays in Holbrook.

EDIT - You should ask Jimmy about the 'Go Jesus' story.  Definitely my all time favorite James Hangley story.  "My child, my child..."

At Fridays there is a giant Trophy on the island in the middle of the bar.  It is epic.

We're a week out and things look great.

I'm looking forward to seeing everybody next week.

And those of you that I see later today, watch out.  We're coming down to wreck Pennsylvania all over again...

So, after seeing so many of you yesterday at what was most certainly the most entertaining Blue Bell I've ever been a part of, I'd like to know: who's making the trip to New York this weekend?

I hope to see many of you guys up here.  We can keep the good times rolling...

I saw that video sir, I think you were the only one who got wrecked!

But anyway I'll be there as long as I don't oversleep and miss the Nick Coss bus. It may be a little tougher than usual as I was just invited to a party at the Philly Penthouse Club Friday night but we shall see...

It's definitely not a bad thing Bauer.  I'm looking forward to seeing everyone out there, and the after party at Fridays, or wherever.

Hey Nick, any idea when you might be holding NYSE VIII yet? The reason I ask so soon is because it's my time of the month... to put in my request offs for the next few weeks and I don't want to miss it. Even though I have said in the past I would quit my job before missing an NYSE event, the reality is I... can't. Sad

Because there ain't no party like a Nick (Coss or Detwiler) party!

I won't know the date for NYSE VIII until Gray Matter Conventions comes out with their PTQ schedule.  There will be no major NYSE event in April, though I am looking to run another Lotus event in May.

I'll keep everyone posted.

And thanks for the kind words.

Hey guys,

I'm just getting back into the game after some years away from Vintage.  I'd love to attend this tournament, if people from PA/NJ and surrounding areas are thinking about attending.  My car is on it's last leg, so I'd need a ride -- but I can gladly drive or bus to a nearby location to get picked up.  I'll gladly pay for gas and any other necessary expenses.

Hell, I'll buy a round of free drinks to anyone who takes me if I place in the money.

Please PM me if anyone from PA/NJ or surrounding areas is definitely attending this -- I'm in Hershey, PA right now.  I know it's short notice but I guess I forgot to check tournament announcement forums in the past day or two since I've thought about coming back to Vintage.

It's the day of the event.  I'm looking forward to seeing everyone in a little more than 10 hours.

Who takes it down today?  Does Dredge continue its streak of dominance?  Does TPS reach another top 8?  Is Mishra going to take it all down again?

It's going to be a good day...
