The atmosphere at our tournaments is really open and competitive. We welcome all new players to the format. So here is the announcement for the 11th edition.

The Dutch Vintage Tournament  XI

Time: Registration is from 10:00 AM to 10:50 AM. Tournament Starts at 11:00 AM promptly.

Prize support is sponsored by www.MagicUnited.nl the internet shop of Rudy Meijer and he will be at the tournament with his collection for trading, selling and buying cards.

The prize support for this tournament is:
1st place UNL Mox
2nd place Mana Drain

For the Rest of the Top players there will be Duals, Fetches and other Vintage staples.

The prize structure has changed a bit and we will not be giving out boosters this time, we will be giving (Vintage staples or new fetches) single cards, possible additional prizes added based on attendance.

1st and 2nd place Prizes are GUARANTEED[/B][/U] by www.Magicunited.nl and the Tournament organization regardless of attendance!

Tournament Format: Non-sanctioned Vintage. (Up to 10 proxies are allowed.) Modified Swiss with single-elimination top 8.
Although this event is unsanctioned, it will be run at a Competitive rules enforcement level and deck lists are required.

Proxy Rules:
There are Two types of acceptable proxies for use in the Dutch Vintage tournament.
(Other Method’s must be approved by the judge after reviewing them before the tournament starts)
1) The first and most basic method is taking a basic land card and writes all details on the card.
2) The second method is to take a card that shares some of the characteristics with the card that you want to proxy and erase any characteristics that do not match, replacing them with the correct characteristics (Cards can be erased with Acetone and a cotton ball).

All proxies must have the following text neatly printed, using a extra fine point sharpie. Ball point pens may not be used:
• The full name of the card (no abbreviations or nicknames)
• Correct casting cost of the card including all colored mana symbols
• All relevant/game effecting text (Oracle wording)

This looks awesome Wink I'll be around although I'm not sure if I'll be playing... for everybody that can't travel to Annecy for the Bazaar of Moxen event, this event is gonna be the next best thing !

Just came back to Brussels from Breda, it was a great even. Nice ambiance, nice prizing, nice opponents. Nice overall then. Wink
Although there was an awful lot of Lodestone Golems in the room. Like, way too much. I was playing Dredge, and I got owned. :p
