4040 Locust St.
Philadelphia, PA 19104

www.redcapscorner.com
Seats 60 people comfortably with extra space for drafts

 Prizes:
1st place will be guaranteed an Italian NM The Tabernacle at Pendrell Vale regardless of attendance!

We are going to be trying out a new prize payout for this tournament BASED ON ATTENDANCE.  Each additional person that shows up increases the top 8 payout.  This way the players don’t lose out if the tournament never hits that 40th or 50th person it needs to increase prize support.

Below is an example prize payout @30 players:
1st Place - Italian NM The Tabernacle at Pendrell Vale
2nd Place - $80 table credit
3rd/4th Place - $40 table credit
5th-8th Place - $25 table credit
Random Door Prize – Something sweet around $20 value
Highest Finish Without Proxies – Something sweet around $20 value

@40 players it would look like this
1st Place - Italian NM The Tabernacle at Pendrell Vale + $30 table credit
2nd Place - $120 table credit
3rd/4th Place - $60 table credit
5th-8th Place - $35 table credit
Random Door Prize – Something sweet around $30 value
Highest Finish Without Proxies – Something sweet around $30 value

If the tournament reaches 60 players, 1st place will be changed to a NM Unlimited Mox Sapphire!
Prizes will also be extended down to 9th-16th!

I will have all revised dual lands, force of wills, all fetchlands, mox diamonds, lion’s eye diamonds, tarmogoyfs, legacy staple commons/uncommons and much more for you to use your table credit on.  This way you can get exactly what you want, instead of some cards you don’t need.

Proxy Rules:
Paper inserts over cards and anything pasted onto cards will not be allowed.  As a general rule of thumb, try to avoid using painted cards.  All proxies should be written on top of regular magic cards, and thus have a regular magic card backing, unless otherwise allowed by the head judge.  The head judge will have final say in all proxy rulings.  Please try to include all pertinent information when making proxies (card name, casting cost, P/T, card type, simplified card text).  As a suggestion, basic lands tend to be easiest to use.

Extra Stuff:
There will be side events running after round 2.  At the moment we are planning for:
$15 8-man drafts (many different draft sets available)
$15 8-man legacy for a box
$15 8-man standard for a box
Upon request, it may also be possible to run 4-man EDH with prizes TBD.

Parking in the immediate vicinity of the store is metered so be prepared with change if you’re running late.  There are areas that it is free to park about 2 blocks from the store, so I suggest heading out a little early to save some money.
There are plenty of places to eat at within 1 block of the store, including a mcdonalds, supermarket, pizza, greek food, qdoba, chinese, etc.

Hey everybody! A reminder that this event is just one week away. 10 Proxy legacy tournaments are pretty rare, so you guys with mostly completed decks should be sure to come on down to Philly and win the rest of your deck.  No borrowing cards from friends this time!
