Fifteen (15) proxies are free with entry. Entry: $25PrizesAs with all our events, prizes scale up with attendance, so the more the merrier! ~ 90% of the prizes will go to the Top 8. Going to preregister, although I'm only a tentative attendee. Got another thing I'm supposed to go to at 5:00 that day, that I'll most likely miss or be extremely late for if I go to this. That being said, I'll do my darndest to get out of that other thing.

Pre-Reg, it's a little tough to commit to something this early, but barring something completely unforeseen I'll be in attendance. It's a Vintage tournament that actually fall on one of my mythic rare off days, I would really hate to miss the opportunity.

I took this one down with MUD, did not lose a match all day. 6-0-1
Just about the opposite of how I did. The only thing I won was the 'travelled furthest (miles)' prize. Oh, and the game where I fanned out: Force x2. Ruby, Mana Vault, Lotus, Jace TMS, Yawgmoth's Bargain. Chose Jace, who showed me Swamp, Dark Rit, USea. Turn two I dropped Bargain, refilled my hand, then thought for a bit. Decided to Jacestorm again, and saw Dark Rit, Demonic Tutor, Yawgmoth's Will. Won handily, without even using Force. The store was cool, with a place to play in back. I had a good time. |

Vintage is a lovely format, it's too bad so few people can play because the supply of power is so small.
Chess really changed when they decided to stop making Queens and Bishops. I'm just glad I got my copies before the prices went crazy.
