FYI for any opportunists reading this thread: there is a rule governing Unsporting Conduct (the gender neutral version of Unsportsmanlike Conduct, as if one of the 10 girls who play magic would pull any of this bs).  Any reasonable judge, presented with these facts, should issue a game loss or worse for Unsporting Conduct to the player attempting to get an edge.

NOTE: I just looked at the penalty guide for Unsporting Conduct and what I said above doesn't seem to fit very well within any of the categories.  It sure "feels" like UC -Major, but the three categories listed don't encompass it.  Hmm.

What you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this forum is now dumber for having read it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

If it so clearly fell into Unsporting Conduct as you claim, I trust Clariax would have said so by now.

I suppose it's mostly the thought that this format is just one big Mistake; and not even a very sophisticated one at that.

Right, which is why I added that after reviewing the rule, it just feels like it should, it doesn't appear to actually fit.

Not trying to be a dick here, but why post at all if you found it to be inaccurate before clicking the button? I've certainly written up responses before, then done some homework and realized my position was invalid. In those cases though, I generally just cancel the post. I guess I'm just confused as to what you were intending to accomplish.

FWIW, I agree that discouraging this sort of behavior is a good idea, which is why I posted these tidbits earlier:
...If this was back when I ran events, and you pulled some crap like this, I'd ban you in a heartbeat.

...If you're looking for cheap wins, learn to play better instead. For every game you take this way, you would have won twenty if you'd just improved your skill (with the added bonus of not getting jumped in the parking lot).

As was already pointed out, if you find yourself appending a note to your post before you even post it because something isn't correct, then you should be editing or completely scrapping the post, not adding a note to the end.

Also it has already been pointed out that telling your opponent you'll concede if he shows you some part his hand, then not conceding when he does so is NOT illegal.  This is not unsportsmanlike conduct.  Telling your opponent he can do something illegal (the previously referred to "dig your tinker kill out of the deck and show it to me) in order to get him penalized is illegal.  It is fraud and the penalty for it is Disqualification.
