X winner Where: Brothers Grim Games & Collectibles 1244 Middle Country Road Selden, N.Y. 11784 (631) 698-2805 brothersgrimgames@gmail.comStore website: http://brgrim.com/index.htmN.Y.S.E. tournament site: http://www.facebook.com/nick.detwiler?ref=name#/group.php?v=info&ref=mf&gid=226523866027This tournament has been in the works for a few months now as the local area guys know. As a disclaimer - I am going to the MA/NY Grudge Match in Hadley the following weekend, and I hope that everyone who show up on the 21st does the same. The dates for August got tight pretty quickly. Vintage Champs is the 1st weekend of the month, the second weekend is a 5K in Philadelphia run by Your Move Games, and the last weekend of the month is the Hadley event. It was the only date open. Our head judge for the event will be Long Island's own Brian Paskoff, a level 2 judge. So mark off your calendar and come out to the Island to spend a day playing Vintage with your friends. This event should be a blast. Looking forward to seeing everyone there!

Given your choices of dates, can't say I'm surprised that another Lotus tournament I will be forced to not play in. But I will at least to stop in for a bit early on.

Nick, seriously, I have had plans for that Saturday with about 30 friends for three months now. And I am not backing out from a day full of the three p's of partying to play magic.

I'm sorry to see that you're not going to be able to make it Bauer. Drop by when you can and hang out with us in the meantime.
Two other gents are going to have byes at this event - Keith Seals, for winning Blue Bell Game Day #5, and Same Berse, for winning Blue Bell Game Day #6.
I hope you both make it out!

I'll venture a guess to say it's 30 more than you have.

I second your prediction that the Lotus will be returning home on the Nick Coss bus... however it shall be in my hands! I am scheduled off for this day and thus shall be making my triumphant return to NYSE events! BTW don't you already have a Lotus Hornung? You greedy bastard!

I don't believe we have met, but me and Jake will literally be splitting the lotus, in half (I will be getting the picture half), because clearly only noobs run lotus as some of you stax players already understand.

We are two weeks away from the biggest N.Y.S.E. of the summer. Set the date aside, and come show your support for New York Vintage!

I'm going to be on the Island for this (by fortunate coincidence), and am bringing all kinds of vintage shenanigans straight from MO.
...however, I'm also not a native and so have no idea how to get out to Seldon from Speonk. I can't even find what the closest LIRR station is. Help / suggestions?

The best way would be Ronkonkama if you are on that line. On the Northern line, I think Stony Brook is the closest bet.

I would be very happy to see it Steve. If you need to borrow a deck (a tier one deck) let me know what you're looking to play, and if I have it, it's yours for the day. I hope to see you there Tiger.
