Heya, There's a survey banner on the right hand side of the Daily Magic page on MTG.com. It's good to give WotC some feedback on their sets, IMHO. It takes about 15 minutes to do, and I pluged eternal formats as much as I could in the feedback sections. If you have a chance to take the survey, I recomend it. Do you know what sucks about these surveys? they say it is mac compatible on firefox, and it's simply not true. I don't know anyone who can get this to work on the "select 3 out of the whole set" who is on this set up. I have no idea where or how to send my gripe to wizards, i've contacted a few people who know people at wizards over a year ago, but they haven't changed anything, so i only get to do half of the survey, and i don't even know if they count that.  |

Ok, I assumed it was a Mac/Firefox issue as to why I couldn't complete the survey. Kind of frustrating after spent time on the first half not to be able to finish. Looks like I'm not the only one who encountered this problem.

Interesting survey. I was asked to rate two basic lands (plains and island) during the survey, though. Apart from the art (superb art for all basic lands in M11, BTW), it's a bit hard to properly gauge the game impact of basic island and plains on the game, as well as how good their names are... Considering how retardly powerful the U/W Flyers deck is in M11 Sealed, I'm pretty sure basic island and plains are a bit overpowered in M11.  |

Apart from the art (superb art for all basic lands in M11, BTW), it's a bit hard to properly gauge the game impact of basic island and plains on the game, as well as how good their names are... Considering how retardly powerful the U/W Flyers deck is in M11 Sealed, I'm pretty sure basic island and plains are a bit overpowered in M11. Basic Island has been broken from the very beginning of the game. |

I took the survey, and strangely enough, the only cards that got the highest/perfect rankings from me just happened to be basic lands. Preordain would have gotten a better ranking if the art wasn't so "meh."
