1 pack Portal III Kingdoms
1 pack Italian Legends
3 packs foreign WB Revised

On a side note, the two players I lost to in the Swiss are now playing in the finals.

Couldn't find any coverage of the vintage top8...I'd love to read it.

I really like the winning list though. Seems perfect against MUD, Tez and Oath...Doesn't look that good against fish though.

Trygon blows up Null Rod.  Bob gains card advantage.  Jace bounces Goyf.  Seems decent against Fish to me.

My Vintage deck:

My Legacy deck:

Sideboard:

And now, the sights, the sounds, the smells of Gencon.

The Trading Card Game Room

New England's (and New York's) finest before the Vintage tournament.

Ghostbusters!

Planeswalker banners above the TCG room.

Cool mana symbol spotlights.

Huge badass stature of Serra.

The ever-watching Goblin King.

Teh prize.

Trogdon resolving Gifts all over some poor guy.

Some hot Oath on Oath action.  Not sure how all those monsters got onto the battlefield, but it's awesome.

Micah Greenbaum vs. Jerry Yang.

Vroman vs. MUD.

Scott Hughes vs. 2010 Vintage Champion Owen Turtenwald.

Battling for spots in the top 8.

The Vintage top 8 table.

Feature match - Jesse Martin vs. AJ Sacher

Legacy Champs - a horde of Gobbos facing down an impossible situation.

Doug Linn vs. huge awesomely altered monsters.

Rich Shay rocking the old-school Dreadnought tech vs. Merfolk.

Big locked down board vs. Moat.

I kinda slacked on pics the second day, so that's all I've got.

Thanks for posting those pictures! I ended up using Jace for the win in the game in that last picture. 6-2 in the Legacy Championships, getting the pairdown into the loss in the last round.

Owen Turtenwald of Team ICBM is the 2010 Vintage World Champion!

Owen Turtenwald of Team ICBM is the 2010 GENCON Vintage Champion.

Calling GENCON Champs the Vintage World Championship is a lie. Deal with it. A 100 people tournament where 99% (if not 100%) of the players are from the US is far from being a World Championship. BOM or EUROVINO are like 4-5 times bigger with players from lot more different countries. That's far more representative from what the "world champion" tittle should mean.

Peace,

piZZero - Jordi Amat

But only Gencon has the paintings Smile
