This guy actually seems really, really good.

He can nuke a whole aggro deck's board, clear artifact mana, destroy Oath, and clear out tokens
all while serving the beatdown.

Guy attacks and 2 trygon predators block, both dying in the process due to masticore-breathing
Guy attacks and is unblocked, blows up all predators

TOo bad he doesn't have shroud. This guy would have been a seriously sick tinker consideration. Hell, it still might be good...

Oh jeez he looks awesome.  Definitely a great card and will find it's way into decks.  I think vassago is definitely right that he is in legitimate Tinker consideration.  Probably not due to ease of being taken out and quasi-vulnerability to Null Rod, but it's certainly strong.
