VINTAGE!!!
I just want to thank everyone who has shown their support in me over the last 4 months. As always, I appreciate any feedback and enjoy holding these tournament for the community, thanks for helping, and I hope everyone has enjoyed themselves up here in Bloomsburg! So with that said, let me introduce... The Council Open #4!
When: Saturday November 27, 2010
Start time: 12:00 pm
(registration begins at 11:00 am)
The Hosts:Shawn Griffiths (kameli0n)
Eric Smith
What: Unsanctioned Vintage Event
(Decklists required)
Swiss rounds with cut to top 4 (or 8 if attendance requires)
Where: The Player's Guild
Columbia Mall
Columbia Mall Drive
Bloomsburg, PA 17815
Fees: 25 dollar entry fee (10 proxies allowed)
An additional 5 proxies can be purchased for 1 dollar each
Prize Support: First: Unlimited Mox Jet
Second: TBA depending upon attendance
Third: TBA depending upon attendance
Fourth: TBA depending upon attendance
NOTE: Everyone, please keep in mind, second through fourth prize is always based upon attendance. The last tournament had 25 people and a second prize of an English Mana Drain, 3rd and 4th were 50 dollars dealer credit each. So keep in mind, if attendance continues to improve, so do the prizes. If attendance gets high enough, there is always the potential for first prize to improve as well!!!! Please everyone, show your support, come out and be part of another great event in our newest vintage tournament location. The Council Open in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania!!! FYI!!!!! Council members should do their best to attend!!!
And once again, I will be set up on location as a dealer for all your buying, selling, and bartering needs.
Hope to see our previous champs and all challengers there!!!

It's doubtful that the two will conflict. Bloomsburg is 5- 6 hours away from Pittsburgh, and I really don't think that anyone from either region would have taken the huge hike otherwise to get to one or the other.

Not sure if you know or care but this and your last event conflicts with area PTQs, last time was philly, this conflicts with Jersey. Im not sure if you guys care about that but I figured id let you kno

Steve, we are aware of the conflict of scheduling with the local ptq's. The core group of guys who attend the bloom/council events don't participate in the ptq's so it doesn't bother them. The attendance we've put up over the last few months has been more than sufficient and I appreciate everyones support. It's tough in these late months with ptq's and scheduling around both of the other two big vintage events each month. So double bookig against ptq's seems to be the way to go so far. Thank for your input though, I appreciate your information. I also look forward to seeing you after the pt is over. Thanks again!
