Grudge Match Bingo is back.  Evan Hundertmark won himself free entry into the Grudge Match II by winning the first Grudge Match Bingo.  So who’s going to take down the second one?  A refresher (stolen from DA):

You start with a five by five grid like so

#####################################################################
#____Rich Shay_____#_____Ivan T. Terrible_____#___Mixing Mike__#_Steve Houdlette_#___Marc Perez____#
#####################################################################
#___Ashok Chitturi__#__Steve O'Connell__#__Jason Zheng__#____Tyler Huff___#___Corey Canfield___#
#####################################################################
#____JP Meyer____#____DicemanX____#___Kevin Cron___#___Shockwave___#____Jacob Orlove___#
#####################################################################
#_Andrew Probasco_#___Aaron LeKarz__#__Aaron Kerzner__#_David Lawrence_#____Ben Kowal_____#
#####################################################################
#____Carl Winter___#____Doug Linn___#__Justin Walters__#____Eli Kassis____#_Stephen Menendian_#
####################################################################

Then you simply fill in names of 25 type one magic players expecting to play at the upcoming New England/New York/Philly Grudge Match in Selden.

Discuss your choices and strategies here, and, of course, post your bingo boards.

I’ll accept submissions up until midnight on January 6th.  After that, I’m going to ask one of the mods to lock the thread, so that all the answers will be finalized.

To quote DA again:

You can mark off on your "Grudge Match Bingo" board every player who makes top 16.  The person who makes the most bingos (four corners, row, column, diagonal) on their board will receive free entry into the next Grudge Match tournament or, if there is no feasible way for the winner to attend because of extreme geographic inconvenience (and that will be relatively strict), a smaller prize will be mailed to them.

In the event of a tie for the most bingos, the winner will be the person with the most overall correct guesses.  The last tiebreaker will be placement of those players (for example correctly guessing the winner will hold more weight then guessing the second place finisher and so on).  If placement doesn't break ties (i.e. two people posted the same grid), then the final tiebreaker will favor whoever posted first.

Take your best shot at winning free entry into the Grudge Match III!  Best of luck to all!

The lack of attention paid to this thread makes me feel very confidant about winning this again.

I realize I'm a bit late to the game but may as well make it interesting with more than 1 entry.

RIP Mogg Fanatic...at least you are still better than Fire Bowman!!!

I was once asked on MWS, what the highest I ever finished at a TMD Open was.  I replied, "I've never played in a Waterbury.  I was then called "A TOTAL NOOB!"

You aren't too late, but you're going to want to edit it.  I'm going to take submissions up until 11am.  DA isn't going, and Travis is iffy atm.

Believe it or not, nobody got bingo.

So I'm going to go through the lists, see who had the most right and award it there.

For starters, to reiterate, nobody had bingo.

We had a four man tie with Mike Egan, Nick Coss, Ray Robillard and Mike Bauer all having selected three members of the top 8.

Using the first tiebreaker, of selecting who finished highest, we eliminate Ray Robillard.  Sam Berse, Paul Mastriano and Brian Carey were all on the other three boards.

Nothing but the last tiebreaker breaks this - that of who posted first.  As Mike Egan posted his board before Nick Coss and Mike Bauer posted theirs, Mike Egan is the winner of Grudge Match II bingo, and will receive a free entry into Grudge Match III.

Congrats Mike!
