I'm thinking of getting back into modo just for Momir. I'll let you know once I do.

I had to Google this for I knew not what it was.  Any format where Basic Land - Mountain is on the watch list is a good format.

Sorry to hear about Worldgorger Dragon though, heh.

I recently got blown out by my own WGD, but I wasn't in the best position when it happened.

I'm officially back on MODO. For now I'm only going to play Momir Basic. Feel free to challenge RusticGlackin to a duel!

My first game was pretty absurd. 2-drop Bloodthorn Taunter, 4-drop Tradewind Rider, 6-drop Primeval Titan, and 8-drop Stormtide Leviathan!

... then there were my final two games on Monday night. First, 3-drop Ovinomancer, 4-drop Wood Elemental, 5-drop Body Double, 6-drop Shieldmage Elder (Hurloon Minotaur at twice the cost, what a bargain!), and 7-drop Shauku, Endbringer, which wouldn't be bad if I wasn't at exactly three life due to all those blanks I hit. Sad Then, I was going great guns until the obligatory 8-drop Denizen of the Deep.

Question for Max Brown or anybody else: Should I have bounced three basics and kept the Ovinomancer?

Just ran so good on Momir. G1 hit Sliver Queen, Numot, then Yosei. G2 hit Admonition Angel and he went for a 6 drop instead of a 7 and got Realm Razor. Won that one easy.

I hit Sakura-Tribe Scout on 1 during a game last night. Yeah, I won that one. That's probably the best one-drop in Momir, no?

My next opponent mulled to 6 (?) then hit a Shifting Wall on 0. Won that one too, obv!

Then I played another game against Mr. Hornung. I try to get Dryad Arbor on 0 again but instead get only a Phyrexian Walker. Next turn I get a Sigiled Paladin on 2 and attack for 1 anyway! I later blew him out with Frost Titan.

After 2 really good games, one involving me hitting Bloom Tender, my opponents G3 7 drop was Phage. Absolutely hilarious.

My most recent game started like this:

My 2-drop: Coral Trickster Sad
His 3-drop: Dogged Hunter  Evil or Very Mad
I attack with Coral Trickster... and he blocks with Dogged Hunter!  Very Happy

It actually ended up being easily the longest and most interesting Momir game I've played yet. I'm still a MODO n00b so I don't know if you can watch any game you feel like, but if you can it's game #116462698.

Max in a daily event at 2-1 do you recommend splitting or playing it out?

Jake doesn’t open on Leyline – he plays City of Brass, and then Pithing Needle on Bazaar.

No, seriously.

Splitting is like 4 tik profit in a DE. I would split if i had anything else to do.
