so i have been playing a gifts style deck for a while now and thought i would share and ask peoples ideas. Basicly its the idea that gifts is the most insane restricted card cause it can find the rest so i tested intution and though it is weaker i dont think its so much weak as to make it bad

regrowth
recoup (makes gifts insane)
ancient grudge (just a solid card and flashback makes it good to intution for.)
skeletal scrying (insane idk why more decks dont run this)
vampiric tutor
demonic tutor
yawg will
brainstorm
ancestral recall

mystical tutor
chain of vapor
timewalk
merchant scroll
tinker
fact or fiction
gifts ungiven
2 jace
3 intution
4 accumulated knowledge( i normaly do not like this card but the way the dec plays your running it because you run not intution not running intution because you are running ak's like most decks with this engine)
4 drain
4 fow
myr battlesphere
voltaic key
time vault
mana crypt
sol ring
mana vault
black lotus
mox opal
5 moxs

library of alexandria
tolarian academy
2 island
tropical island
volcanic island
4 underground sea
4 fetchs

you want to save fetchs as much as possible cause you only have 1 green and 1 red land source g1 but i run a forest and mountian sb and up the number vs stax and grudge sb is insane cause you go for 3 grudge with intution and end up with 4 things dead comments welcome

Gold Eyes, you may have noticed a distinct trend in how your threads of this nature conclude. Either you receive one or two comments before your thread dies, or it is quickly locked by a moderator for lack of content, give you a warning and then refer you to read the site rules (http://www.themanadrain.com/index.php?topic=38003.msg508152#msg508152). This one will be no different. It occurs to me that perhaps you're not farmiliar with the caliber of post that is expected to accompany a decklist. Take a look at a Gush based deck posted by one of our Vintage Adepts: http://www.themanadrain.com/index.php?topic=41535.0 Notice how he begins, an analysis of the metagame he expects and an explanation for why he believes in the effectiveness of his strategy! He looks at previous incarnations of the deck and talks about how his approach to building the deck will be different! He breaks down the deck's mana, control cards, draw spells AND sideboard in detail! You didn't even post a sideboard let alone break down/analyze it. Notice what follows this well thought out post? Relevant discussion! It doesn't take much to see where your own post falls short. Please put some more thought into your subsequent posts and I will be more than happy to discuss with you why I think stretching your mana base into two additional colors for 2 non-restricted cards is probably not worth it. Lastly, I try not to be overly critical of people's writing, but I don't think punctuation marks, capital letters and occasional commas to improve readability are too much to ask.

Meddling Mike posts so loudly that nobody can get a post in edgewise.
