The prize structure has changed a bit and we will no longer be giving out booster. We will be giving out singles - Vintage staples or new fetches - instead, with possible additional prizes based on attendance.

1st and 2nd place Prizes are GUARANTEED by Rudy’s Magic Backpack (Magicunited.nl) and the Tournament organization with an attendance of 20 people.

Tournament Format: Non-sanctioned Vintage. (Up to 10 proxies are allowed.) Modified Swiss with single-elimination top 8.
Although this event is unsanctioned, it will be run at a Competitive rules enforcement level and deck lists are required.

Proxy Rules:
There are Two types of acceptable proxies for use in the Dutch Vintage tournament.
(Other Method’s must be approved by the judge after reviewing them before the tournament starts)
1) The first and most basic method is taking a basic land card and writes all details on the card.
2) The second method is to take a card that shares some of the characteristics with the card that you want to proxy and erase any characteristics that do not match, replacing them with the correct characteristics (Cards can be erased with Acetone and a cotton ball).

All proxies must have the following text neatly printed, using a extra fine point sharpie. Ball point pens may not be used:
• The full name of the card (no abbreviations or nicknames)
• Correct casting cost of the card including all colored mana symbols
• All relevant/game effecting text (Oracle wording)

So Marske, when are you going to start organizing something in Toronto that's as awesome as this? Wink

I still have to chuckle at "Prizes are GUARANTEED by Rudy’s Magic Backpack" - sounds like a Bag of Holding.. I hope 2nd place is at least worth a Drain. Do you have a likely estimated value for that one yet?

When Toronto is near NL/BE I will Wink, if I ever spend an extended period of time abroad I might be up for organizing something. This is however highly unlikely though.

It's the name of the dealer ! Very Happy

As you may notice from the original post, I'm not tied to the organisation of this. It's a branch of our tournament series, we're involved to a certain degree but not in a way that we can determine the prize structure. I'm going to assume if attendence allows it the second place prize is going to be onpar with a Drain (as that's what he normally gives away at our events) but I can't make any real statements about it.
