I'm sure Tobi from Morphling can leap in here and tell you more, but I think Germany has it's big eternal weekend in January. I've not been able to go the last couple of years as the dates have been (only in my opinion) pretty terrible - like it starts on new year's day or something!

But if that were to be moved slightly this year who knows... think it still attracts around 100 Vintage players or so. Again, I'm sure Tobi has better info.

Thanks Smile Yeah this year weekend is on 31/1 (terrible) but the week after 7/8 would have been perfect. Also Germany is pretty nice when it comes to travel cost as it has big airports and cheap hotels Smile

Also great beer and abundant sausages! and yup - a week or two later would make all the difference. Oh well! Hope you find something to play in Smile

There is no final announcement online yet, but there will be a big eternal weekend (vintage, legacy and I think highlander) on the weekend Januar 6th to 8th. Vintage is planned to be on January 6th, which is a public holiday in large parts of Europe.

Once I have more information I'll let you know.

Does anybody have a definitive date yet for Bazaar of Moxen 2012? I would like to reserve a plane ticket and amenities but can't find any details for it yet.

According to statistics from Momondo, the cheapest plane tickets is bought 8 weeks before departure, in the morning Smile

Dunno yet, apparently they are going to allow 15 proxies in the vintage tournemnt, This is something that has been succesfull in bringing back up the numbers of particpant to italian tournaments in the last few months to around 50 people for the biggest leagues (the one in tuscany and the one in Milan) but i did not expect to see it happen at a big event such as the DDay.

Not too happy either about that, but if it will help reaching 200+ participant well maybe it is worth doing it  ..
