If you are taking on more people to start a third pool, I'd like to play as well! dittoYou guys are both welcome to play.  At this point, it's best to run it as a full event in lieu of running it as a bunch of eight mans.  Steve, I'd like to offer you a slot as a Ringer, but if Smennen plays, I'm out of slots.  In the future, I would like to have you as a Ringer though... |

I dunno Steve, seeing a lot of hard talk outta you, but not a whole lot of follow through. Nor do I expect to see much follow through in the future. Here, I made a graph to help explain. |

I assume this is a like a normal Magic tournament where we have to use the same deck list for the preliminary rounds as we do if/when we hit the ringers? Just checkin' cause that would change my deck choice if it wasn't the case.

Correct.  The deck that you run for the first round of the event will be the deck that you run for the remainder of the event.  As was done in the first Online Invitational, I am going to ask all the players to post their lists upon having played their first round.  This keeps everybody honest all while generating real content and discussion on TMD.   |

If you would rather keep the mystery alive and not require people to post their deck lists until the end, you could do so while maintaining the honesty by just having them post their deck's hash code before the tournament begins: the latest version of Cockatrice generates a unique and consistent hash code of any decklist you give it and reports that in the deck editor and game log box. Your opponent could just check that code against the one you published to make sure they're the same. |

Yeah, we can just upload our decks to the Cockatrice server and then tell you the number Cockatrice assigns to them.  Would that work for you, Prospero? |
