Deluded Matron  {U} {W}
Creature - Human Cleric
Shroud (It can't be the target of spells or abilities.)

 {Tap}:Choose target enchantment a player controls and target enchantment card in that player's graveyard. If both targets are still legal as this ability resolves, that player simultaneously sacrifices the enchantment and returns the enchantment card to the battlefield. Auras must target a creature that player controls.

"The Matrons trade one delusion for another! First they believed Serra would return, now they believe that the Baron is dead. But i know better..."-Eron the Relentless
0/1

This card i feel covers a niche in all formats and is perticually strong in Legacy and Vintage. It opens up a gambit of enchantments not available to players due to speed contstraints of the format. For flavor i chose blue/white, though i may make it just white.

From a ruling standpoint, this doesn't work, an aura coming back from the graveyard will not target. I don't think this line is really needed anyway, it wouldn't be that much stronger if you could enchant opponent stuff with your auras.

I think Shroud is being pushed out by Hexproof, since Hexproof is better with Auras, Equipment, etc... than Shroud.

Also correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think the bit about "If both targets are still legal" needs to be in there?  I see what you're trying to avoid but I think the rules of the game take care of that, since this is targeted.  But I might be wrong.

I think it's the same wording as Welder.

i used shroud because hexproof is more green, additionally to avoid broken combos with it. Because someone would eventually figure out how to continually untap it.  E.g. Flight of Fancy "welded" in to draw two cards; and out to draw a card from Femeref Enchantress. Or, welding in and out Parllax Dementia to wipe the board. By no one being able to target it Removal/bounce do become useless, the trade off is you cant do anything obsurd either.

It would be in blue, Mind Control effects; In white, arrest effects. Both would be quite rough to encounter in standard and extended. in legacy/vintage Parllax Dementia becomes pretty much a free destroy target creature with no drawbacks. However you are right, it is extrainous. Since the swap is between the same player the requirement isnt necessary. But an aura returning to the battlefield from the graveyard must enchant a legal target or it stays put. My supporting evidence is Replenish and Open the Vaults, these state: (Auras with nothing to enchant remain in your graveyard.)

It is, Goblin welder is the template for it. I wanted to make an enchantment welder.
