I wasn't looking to play in this event, but I'll take Shawn's spot.  I think he has dropped off the grid again.

I just played Steve and we had an interesting match that I lost 2-1. He was playing a Gush/Doomsday deck of sorts and I was playing Minus Six.

Game 1: I mull to 6, he keeps his 7. I have turn 2 Bob with FoW backup, which is decent for 6 cards. I play a land, he plays land-go, I play Bob which resolves. He casts EOT Vampiric Tutor, which I would generally allow to resolve, but I am all-in with Bob so I can't risk a Darkblast or a bomb, so I FoW. That seemed to work out well as he plays nothing of consequence on his following turn. The game takes a bad turn for me when I flip a WGD, which generally isn't a big deal, but I hit nothing useful with Bob for many turns, and he eventually beats down with a Trygon Predator and finishes me with Tendrils.

Game 2: I board out 3 Dragons and Necromancy x 3, bringing in bounce, Extirpate, Tinker-Bot. My opening 7 is pretty uninspiring, but I choose to keep. My hand is: Lotus, Jet, Sea, Bazaar x 2, BSC, and Read the Runes. Pretty weak, but I figure that unless he explodes, I can draw myself back into this game. I play the acceleration and pass. He plays Trop, Petal, Thoughtseize. I cast RtR for 1 in response, drawing a land and pitching BSC, so he misses. I untap, play Bazaar, draw Oona and FoW, pitch Bazaar, FoW, and Delta, then pass. He does nothing on his turn and passes. I hardcast Oona which he thinks about, and allows to resolve. Oona and friends go the distance in this one.

Game 3: This game last maybe 4 turns total but it took forever. My 7 was Ruby, Pearl, Sea, delta x2, Extirpate, Top. He keeps. I keep. He sets up a turn 2 Doomsday after about 15 minutes. He plays Gush and then Lab Maniac, I Extirpate Gush in response. I find he has 2 x Flusterstorm, and FoW. I have Repeal and Intuition on top of my library, but they are trapped by my fetchlands, because I needed to use my only UB source to cast Extirpate. My EOT Top on his turn takes another 15 minutes, while I put together all the possible combinations of outs I can think of. I calculate that my only play is to draw my Repeal on top of my library, bait his FoW, then spin the top once, fetch, and hope to hit a Jace. Unfortunately for me, I don't find the Jace.

This deck is suicidal but is tons of fun to play. You will lose games to Bob but more often than not, if you can survive a few flips, you'll usually win. It has game against control, shops, fish, and dredge. Combo is a more difficult matchup.

Shawn doesnt have Internet at the moment, he usually has to go to a wifi area with his computer to get on. Which is probably why you hvebt been able to get ahold of him. I can call him and see what his plans are or if Nick wants to replace him that's his call.

OK, we have a slight adjustment.  Grand Inquisitor (whom I had wanted for the Ringer tournament anyways) is going to be making a reappearance, taking up the match against Onslaught. 

Slayn001 is going to play TD, so long as there's some communication regarding time/date for the match today.  If that doesn't happen, then I'm going to step in and play TD.

Please PM me if there are any further complications.

Repairing him against another Ringer sounds preferrable. I don't think anyone should get byes.
