Six awesome vintage players met last night. Top 2 spots were Doomsday and McShusher Snipe, in a repeat of last week. Who will dethrone Doomsday? Can anyone do it? Will it be ... you?!

Once again mad props to Mr. Ferry! I watched him go from a list full of proxies to being one of the best D-Day pilots on this coast.

A heads up to everyone. I won't be at Pandemonium this coming Tuesday 4/30 due to having to travel for work or the following Tuesday 5/7 due to getting my wisdom teeth removed. But the store will still gladly facilitate the event if people show up.
See you all in a couple of weeks, and remember that the Mox event is coming up fast!

Who else is coming out tomorrow? Also, I'm game for other days like Sunday to test. Anybody show up Monday for Legacy with Vintage decks in tow? Have not been there on Monday yet, may have to stop by.

Despite the lack of Captain Craig, we managed 8 players tonight! Hope everyone shows up next week, too!

It was a rough night for the Doomsday reigning champ. And for McShusher Snipes, too. Grats to Thomas with the RUG-Delver win!

Lost rd 1, then had the grindiest win ever against oath and beat shops, so some good games were had.
8 players was pretty good. I hope these numbers can only increase. Good games were had by all, and McShusher Snipes has to be one of the most fun decks to watch. It was nice to see a couple new people too. I hope everyone keeps coming out to these weekly events, and it's great practice for the upcoming tourney.

Glad to hear the turnout was good. Unfortunately I will most likely be absent again this week due to getting my wisdom teeth removed that morning. But hopefully I'll be around later in the week for some testing.

Six people last night even though we were missing a lot of the regulars. We've been having some new people show up and there's always extra decks to borrow. Last night I loaned out the Espresso Stax deck and McShusher Snipes and played a oathless burning long myself. Top two was me vs. Anderson on McShusher Snipes, with the Snipes just having too much of a counter wall for me to get through.
Thats right, guttersnipes in first place!

Sounds great guys! Hopefully I'll be able to make it next week. Although work is already threatening to send me on travel again.... Which I am not too happy about.
That being said if anyone is interested in some games today or tomorrow evening let me know. I'm itching for some games.

What time?
Also we had an insane stack that started with me trying to resolve Ancestral EOT. I Ancestral, he Mental Missteps, I MM back, he goes FoW I believe, I Flusterstorm, He casts Mindbreak Trap, I FoW MBT, and he casts another Mindbreak Trap! Then he puts an Arcane Denial on one of his own spells for the blowout to draw 3 cards during my upkeep. I am pretty sure that's how it went, but the stack was huge, and that's how triple counter protection doesn't always get there.
I made a bunch of play errors last night, and hopefully I got them out of the way before the tourney this month. I'm down for testing whenever, and I'm pretty sure a couple other guys are too.

I'm thinking tomorrow will probably be better since right now I'm without my car so it'll be hard for me to get over to panda. But I could head over there tomorrow right after work, say aroud 4-430?
That is unless of course you live anywhere near Somerville and want to journey over to my place.

Thanks mcgeachie
We had 8 people for last nights event and the final standing for top 4 were as follows:
1. Craig M. w/ Golden Gun Oath 2. Sam B. w/ Espresso Stax 3. Mike M. w/ Mcshushersnipes 4. Anderson B. w/ Espresso Stax
Once again I'm afraid I will have to miss next week due to business travel, but for those interested I am hosting a Vintage play testing session at my place Friday night.
