We had a low turnout of 6 today, White Trash took it. I came in second after some savage misplays and a manhandling by Tony wielding Cavern of Souls.

What John means is that Tony sat the entire room of T1 players down and quietly instructed them on the finer points of Vintage by beating the ever loving shit out of everyone.  It's his 2nd time playing in 5 years and he brews a rogue deck that owns the house.  Sure it was a small venue, but he whooped on me, Jeff, John and a couple others who have plenty of T8s under our belt.  It was gravy.

Cavern of Souls + Clerics and Wizards = Nutty!

Great Job Tony!

I'm coming, Tony is coming, Steve is coming, Clark said he would be there 95%, Mike will most likely be there, and I'm trying to get 2-3 newbies to show up as well. Should have a good crowd this week - make some effort to come out!

FYI, if anyone feels like sharing their lists feel free to post them here.  I'd love to see what kinds of tech everyone was running since my purpose for running these is first and foremost to learn new strategies.

For the past few weeks I have been getting people together on Sunday for some cost free play testing. Even with the weekly events and the monthly Dual Land tournaments I feel as though some of the newer players and myself included get significant value out of actually sitting down and playing in a non tournament setting. Usually I try to set it up for the early afternoon around 12:30 or 1PM. Unfortunately I am working this weekend so I will not be able to get to Central until 4PM. If anyone is interested feel free to contact me on Facebook or here.

I'll see if I can make it over for this since I would really like some more play testing .  But I will be driving in from CT that day do we'll see.
