What's weird is I should have done better than Chris but I got the pair down... Just weird last Tuesday. Beat Mike, lost to milian but I beat Craig so all's good. Gonna smoke everyone on Tuesday this upcoming week.

My wife and daughter are going out of town for most of August. No promises, but I might actually make it out to a few of these next month.

Great, we'd be very glad to have you.  And if you make such powerful plays that we can't get a play in edgewise, that's okay too.  Ok dumb joke.  Hope to see ya there at some point!

This is funny, because I will be out of town for 2 out of 4 weeks in august for my honeymoon.  So I will likely not be there.  But the events still run without me so please do show up!

I'm moving to Boston this fall for grad school and I looked up card shops before grocery stores, so you know where my priorities are at!  Incredibly excited to see weekly vintage, I'll try to make it as often as I can once I'm there!

I hope they're smoothies laced with sleeping agents to make everyone play worse.

10 Players 4 Rounds of Swiss from last night :

1st: Paul E, Orchardless-Oath
2nd : Mike M, Doomsday
3rd : Andy P, Jace/Bob/Dack
4th : Casey G, Dack-Slaver

We won't have Craig for the next two weeks but we will have a lot of strong competition to prepare for the big upcoming events!  Come on down.  There's always a few proxy decks to loan out, if you need one or want to give it a try.

No Craig, but there were 9 players and 4 rounds of swiss that lead to:

1st : Caleb, merfolk
2nd : Andy P, something grixis with dack and notion thief
3rd : Casey G, welder control
4th : Mike M, dack-gush

big thanks to Caleb for giving us a rest from his usual unbeatable-dredge deck, and instead going unbeaten with Merfolk!

what is NWCS?

A pretty dominant deck with a surprisingly effective draw engine - a deck that could only be improved by dropping the welders, birds, and slaver.

Hilarious occurrences Doomsday was both the first and last place deck for this event.

Alright panda fantatics!

The topic was raised during the spectacular vintage championships yesterday about the likely attendance for a vintage FNM at panda.   Can we get a once a month sanction vintage FNM to fire consistently enough to make it worthwhile for pandemonium to give us the space?

Is this something people would be interested in doing?  Do we want to give it a shot?!!?!  Chime in here with thoughts.

Sanctioned Vintage FNM? This is awesome enough that I would probably drive out to at least the first one.
