I'm really looking forward to making this, I can't wait to get some final testing in before the trip to GenCon.
Sorry to see that you can't make it, Mike. I'll see everybody else there!

It's my fault CT isn't showing up, although in retrospect, Nick doesn't give us enough notice on events, so I'm blaming him In all seriousness though, it was just a bad day and I had plans. Hopefully next time.

So what do I get for making the trip all the way from Boston? Just kidding, this is my 1st major vintage event in years after quitting for a while and I'm very excited. My girlfriend has friends in Jersey so I can occasionally make it to your events now. So I shall be there sunday! I'm very interested in playing in a NY/NJ meta, as I have only played in NE. Let's hope I can shake the rust off. Looking forward to meeting you Nick and the rest of you guys, I've heard good things from the local guys who've been to your events. Peace.

To all who are participating I wish the best of luck from the wonderful country of Kenya. May blue.dec take it down, as vintage should be.

65 players, 7 rounds of Swiss
1. Detwiler (Marinara MUD) loses to 8. Fabiano (Snap Control) 2. Kohler (Bomberman) beats 7. Dixon (Oath) 3. Me (Martello) beats 6. Hundertmark (Espresso) 4. Pikula (URg Landstill) beats 5. Noble (Noble Fish)
2. Kohler loses to 3. Me 4. Pikula beats 8. Fabiano

Congrats to the top 8. I am just curious as to what Marinara MUD is and what the list was. Sorry if I sound stupid.

Had a great ime yesterday in my first vintage tournament. Went 4-3. Rob Edwards was a great opponent. I can't wait for the next one!

Steve, I'm glad you and all the other new faces had such a blast at the event. Big props to Coss for drawing in so many for this GenCon tuneup.

There were definitely a bunch of players I've never seen before at this event. This was a great tournament and I do believe that the vintage community is growing.

I continued the trend of going into the top eight of Summer Opens as the first seed, on MUD Marinara, and losing in the first round of top eight.
I had a great time at this event, thanks, Nick! It was great to see so many new players, especially so many Legacy converts!
