I was wondering, which version of shop deck is considered best for this meta? I ask because all I own are cards for shops decks.

Is the room full of creature hate?

If yes, proceed to Espresso.  If no, proceed to Martello.

I got a laugh out of this, and I'd imagine that Raf will too.

Pretty accurate assessment, Bill.

Honestly, not many.  The main deck is basically a stock list, so that's safe.  We can't really comment on your sideboard without knowing what decks you specifically expect to face in your meta.

Matt, I guess you still haven't figured out how TMD works. You can't post your list of 75 and expect to get some profound response. People reading the thread need context of some sort, literally anything would help. I don't understand why you continue to post these threads whose sole content is a question with no other thoughts. Most are not familiar with the particular meta we play in.

Capitalization and missing Sol Ring aside, I question the lack of maindeck Duplicant and Revoker. Revoker is slightly more meta dependent based on what problem permanents you expect (Time Vault, EE, Karn, Jace, Pridemage, etc.), but I would consider Duplicant a must in any Forgemaster deck. Myr Battlesphere is marginal and could be easily replaced by Dupli-CAN. Personally, I don't like four Metamorphs in a Forgemaster deck. I like it even less in this particular deck with a lower number of threats and unusually high number of mana sources.

Everyone will have their own opinion, but my opinion on Sol Ring is that it the best artifact mana of choice aside from MAYBE lotus, and I stress maybe.  While lotus can obviously be nuts, there have been lists in the past which didn’t play it.  I doubt there has ever been a shop deck without the maximum legal amount of Sol Rings.  I’d sooner cut a mox, though I’ve always played all 9 artifact mana when possible.  Cut a city for Sol Ring in that list of course.

What's the opinion on metalworker? Should it be replaced by phyrexian revoker?

In what list?  That question makes no sense based on no list.  I don’t play either in the main, and 4x revoker in the board

For Expresso Stax build does anyone have any experience with Sideboarding a couple of The Tabernacle at pendrell vale and care to talk about if it worked well for them. I was thinking of 2 x Maze and 2 x The Tabernacle to deal with Trygons and other new creature decks coming out.

The reason why I don't like lands to fight creature decks is that they pack wasteland, which is an answer completely unaffected by all your cards (spheres, wire. chalice, revoker).

Isn't that the same as "I don't like to play artifacts to fight creature decks because they have counterspells?" I'm a bit perplexed here.

Tabernacle and Maze are really good at creating a speed bump against creature decks because they're uncounterable. The synergy between Tabernacle and Tangle Wire vs creature decks unbelievable. I've personally derailed the Noble Fish train right off the tracks with this two card combo. Toss in a Smokestack and its pretty much GG.

Expresso Stax usually runs quad lazer Crucible of Worlds so you shouldn't have difficulty in getting one of the two to stick. Also, by running the two lands it takes pressure off getting your Workshop wastelanded.

In reality it comes down to metagame and pilot styles so you should test and figure out what works best for you.

No, not at all. Your spheres, tangle wire, and smokestack protect future threats (ie trike) from counters. However, spheres, tangle wire, and smokestack have no effect on wasteland and offer a tabernacle no protection.

I don't typically play crucible as it does nothing on its own (my personal preference). If you do play crucible, land threats become significantly better vs a creature deck playing wasteland.
