I'll obviously be there. I'm disappointed that it'll be the last one at Grim, I had a great time at my first one there. Still looking forward to events elsewhere in the future though

I think I'm going to try and come down for this. It will be good practice for the January event up here. Just need to find somewhere to stay Friday night

I'd really like to go to this. It would be hilarious -- and fun -- to bookend your NYSE events. I just wish it wasn't a $130+ project to get out there. :-\

I'd be up for that. One last big afterparty to finish off more than three years of events at Grim sounds like a good plan to me.

WOOT WOOT, This year was a blast! Could not have started playing T-1 at a better time and could not be playing with a better community !
Hey, when is the invitational event going to happen? And is the required amount of point to play in it going to change?

Wow, the year is almost done... It is, but the NEV Championship is still on the schedule, and that's a major event. Plus, I know Coss intends on running a great Vintage Weekend of sorts for that event. More details to come soon...

Just tell her you're going to "Home Depot." That gives you infinite time.

Just so you guys are aware, there is also a huge Warmachine/Hordes tourney going on at the same time. From what I've heard, we will be looking at least 30-40 people taking up all the back tables. I will most likely be one of those people, pendng A LOT of testing of that game over the next week. (That, and there is no way I can build my deck under 15 proxies right now outside of some sheer dumb luck or borrowing half a deck... or a full deck and not playing what will be my pet deck.)

Thanks for the heads up, Bauer. This wasn't mentioned when I originally scheduled the event. That being said, we comfortably fit 90 players at Grim, with ample space to spare, and Grim has since gotten bigger (in buying out the store next door). While I'd prefer that there wasn't an additional event going on, we can still easily fit well over 50 players, and I don't think we're going to have that problem.

Thanks for the heads up, Bauer. This wasn't mentioned when I originally scheduled the event. Believe me, I only found out last weekend. I think between the recent attendence you have had, plus this also being a charity event that Gil wanst to do for the Red Cross, the Vintage toruney was not thought of as a big deal. LIke I said, I'm still very iffy on which event I will actually play in.

How full is "full"? I'm looking to make this event and I'm out of southern NH. By the way, this is Tony - I typically play at Myriad in Salem NH, but made it down to Pandemonium one time with Oli, Kyle and Jeff. I know we met but you may not remember me.

I'm not happy with the Blue Bell event being scheduled the same day, but what am I supposed to do? Cancel the event? Offer better prizes that run me a loss? Pay some people with free entries in order to get people not to attend Blue Bell? More than anything else, I'm disappointed at the decision, which I was not a part of, to schedule this event on this day. Given that you're already qualified for the event, Tom, and given that an actual NEV event will give out more points than the Qualifier, I'd imagine that you're being facetious. I'd hope that, this being the last NY event, there would still be interest on behalf of some of the southern Jersey and Pennsylvania guys to make the trip. If they all end up going to Blue Bell, I understand. I've gone to my last Blue Bell event.
