Up for karma is a Japanese Gifts Ungiven in NM condition that I got from our very own Ben Carp about 2 years ago.  This will be open for one week, I'll randomly pick a winner Sunday the 13th. I'll send you a PM and you must reply with your mailing address within 3 days or a new winner will be picked. Rules for entry: 1) Be a forum member as of yesterday 1/4/13 2) Post here saying you want it! One entry per person. 3) Include in your post one combo, make it somewhat obscure, and fun! I'll be trying to do one of these every two weeks when I get paid. |

Combo:
Step 1: Gain infinite colorless mana with Ashnod's Alter, Enduring Renewal, and Ornithopter
Step 2: Use Braingeyser to make opponent draw their whole deck
Step 3: Use Farrelite Priest to turn all the mana white
Step 4: Play Celestial Dawn
Step 5: Cast Concordant Crossroads
Step 6: Cast Nacre Talisman
Step 7: Cast Skull of Orm
Step 8: Cast Tempest Efreet
Step 9: Use Tempest Efreet to take ownership of a card in your opponent's hand
Step 10: Use Animate dead on Tempest Efreet.
Step 11: Use Tempest Efreet to take ownership of a card in your opponent's hand
Step 12: Use Skull of Orm to get back Animate Dead
Step 13: Cast Animate Dead on Tempest Efreet, untapping Skull of Orm with Nacre Talisman
Repeat steps 11-13 to gain ownership of all your opponent's cards(assuming they are too stupid to concede).

Ashnod's Coupon, Mindslaver/Sorin Markhov, Donate/Zedruu, and a way to tap an artifact.
1. Gain control of your opponent's next turn.
2. Donate a tapped Ashnod's Coupon to them.
3. While controlling the opponent, activate Ashnod's Coupon targeting yourself and the soft drink in your backpack.
The opponent must now pay any $$$ costs for the soft drink, but since you own it you get to choose the price. Your opponent must give you all of their money or concede the game.

Fun obscure combo;
Start with an Anthem effect - anything that gives your guys at least +0/+1 will do.
Cast Phyrexian Metamorph, copying nothing.
Cast Gilded Lotus.
Cast Eternal Witness.
Cast Rite of Replication, with kicker, targeting Phyrexian Metamorph.
use 4 of the metamorph copies to copy Gilded Lotus, and the 5th to copy Eternal Witness. Return Rite of Replication to your hand.
Tap 3 of your new Gilded Lotuses to cast Kicked Rite again, repeating ad infinitum until you have arbitrary mana, your may then cast any spell in your hand an arbitrary number of times via copying more Witness with Rite, you have an arbitrary nubmer of creatures, and mana.

Wormfang Manta + Vanishing = infinite turns, due to bizarre phasing rules. 702.24d The phasing event doesn’t actually cause a permanent to change zones or control, even though it’s treated as though it’s not on the battlefield and not under its controller’s control while it’s phased out. Zone-change triggers don’t trigger when a permanent phases in or out. Counters remain on a permanent while it’s phased out. Effects that check a phased-in permanent’s history won’t treat the phasing event as having caused the permanent to leave or enter the battlefield or its controller’s control. |

That's pretty. I will give it a shot: I WANT IT! Combo: Black Lotus + Mox Emerald + Mox Ruby + Taiga + Ball Lightning + Blood Lust + Berserk First turn kill with the luckiest first 7 ever? Only thing better was when mana burn still existed.....60 black lotus, draw 7, drop 7, sac 7, take 21 burn, turn 1 kill EVERY GAME.  |
