Serene Remembrance   g
Sorcery    Uncommon
Shuffle Serene Remembrance and up to three target cards from a single graveyard into their owners' libraries.

New fodder against ichorid. Probably not good enough being a sorcery, but with wastelands can be annoying, and recoverable.

How is this better than Tormord's Crypt or Nihil Spellbomb?

it's worse overall, but skips null rod/stony silence (lol), and can be used for own profit (recovering cards for your own deck, as in a gsz deck, for example). i can't see recovering 3 cards into own deck with card loss a good move, but maybe you need a card to combo (fastbond, lotus, oath...) and play it as a crap krosan reclamantion.

I feel like you'd just grab Regrowth or Yawgmoth's Will.

If this were an instant, or flashed back, or cantripped.... then we'd be in business.  As it is, it's a nice effect but it's just outclassed.  Against Dredge, everything is better.  As a combo or utility piece, I think I'd always want to run Memory's Journey over this.

The only place I could see this going is in ShuffleYourOpponent'sLibrary.dec, alongside Cosi's Trickster, Lantern of Insight, Rootwater Thief, and Bitter Ordeal.  I think such a deck is cute as heck, but I think the reality is it sucks hard.

I'm trying to think of a realistic scenario where this wouldn't be the case. I can't think of one.

When you mill it and want to use it - like in oath.  And when you don't need it, but want to pitch to FoW.

Yep.  Memory's Journey has the same effect, more or less, but it actually is best at what it does in offering a panic button in Maniac-Oath.

Thanks. I probably should have been clearer with the language in my initial post. Let me try again.

I'm trying to think of a realistic scenario where I would want to play Serene Remembrance instead of Memory's Journey. I can't think of one. Memory's Journey appears to be the better card hands down. Even in the stupid unrealistic scenario where my opponent has multiple REBs in hand and Meddling Mage naming Memory's Journey I'd probably still prefer something like Krosan Reclamation before I would consider this card.
