I was playing someone who was using a Human deck based around Dark confidants, snapcasters, hermit Druid, mayor of avabruck, and Narcomeoba, to mill his deck, return Angel of Glories rise using dread returns, returning all humans, and I believe he played with 4 Volcanic's/Taiga's and 1-2 Anger's to give all of them haste, and swing ftw.  I liked the premise of the deck, but found too many cards IMO to be subpar, like Anger, and using the combat step as its main finisher.  I decided to try my own stab at the deck list using the combo of:

Hermit Druid> Mill deck>4 x Narco/Other humans>Dread Return Angel returning all humans>Use snapcasters ability to Cast Gitaxian Probe/Careful Study/Ancestral with Maniac in play and win.

Here is the decklist, and I will be honest its very first stages.  I run the ancient grudge maindeck for our worst enemies, Pithing Needle, Grafdiggers Cage, and Phyrexian Revoker, along with Mental Misstep, Cabal Therapies, and Force of Wills to protect our Hermit friend.  I haven't made a sideboard yet, as I want to focus on making the main work to the best it can first.  Against graveyard hate we can always just try to hardcast Maniac, then Upkp Hermit to remove deck, and win anyways during draw step, hopefully with counter backup as planned.  Anyways, this is what I have so far in mind, and would like to know if maybe I am missing something obv or essential that could help it out.  Also the list is 62 cards atm, but I am not sure what else could be dropped and it still function well.

Creatures (14)
4 x Hermit Druid
2 x Snapcaster Mage
2 x Laboratory Maniac
4 x Narcomeoba

3 x Gitaxian Probe
Ancestral Recall
Time Walk

Vampiric Tutor
Ancient Grudge
4 x Force of Will
2 x Careful Study
2 x Green Sun's Zenith

Mana:(24)
5 x Moxen

4 x City of brass
4 x Gemstone Mine

Why is this win condition superior to the standard Sutured Ghoul package? Doesn't this version have an extra dead card?

This version doesn't require attacking, and can be protected better thru a Snap'd Mental Misstep, or Cabal therapy or the like, and wins on the spot. What is the extra dead card? I normally don't/haven't tried Hermit decks, this was my first stab at it, I just liked how you get to return Snap and Maniac, and then flashback any draw card to just win right then.

You can make the package much smaller.

1x Azami, Lady of Scrolls
4x Narco
1x Angel of Glory's Rise
1x Lab Maniac

This is sufficient to win immediately if you mill your whole deck.  Azami lets you tap herself and Maniac for the draw you need.

ah nice catch MCdawg.  I can still include 1 snapcaster as backup for a Mental Misstep or Flusterstorm as well, even tho its probably not needed, even if they try to STP/Bolt Maniac in response, I can just tap a snap or Maniac in response.  Nice.  Now that helps.  Any other advice?  I really want to try this out.

I hate drawing a Dryad Arbor, and I feel like the likelihood of that happening with 2 Green Sun's Zenith is significantly greater. Plus, this isn't a midrange deck that wants three mana on turn 2 like many legacy lists that use GSZ + Arbor. I can't see it being worthwhile.

Unless you want to Therapy and cast Druid on turn 2, but I can't see that happening THAT often.

Since you don't need the Careful Study anymore, you might want to include Brainstrom, you do have a couple of cards to shuffle, and you also have some redundant cards you never want in your hand.

Don't you still need dread return for this?   Not sure how this package is smaller than 4 narco, 1 sutured ghoul, 1 dread return, 1 lord of extinction, 1 dragon breath - that's 8 cards, and if you need to dread return the angel, you're still looking at 8 cards.  With the ghoul combo, if they somehow shut off your grave recursion (grafdiggers cage anyone?) you can still power through an LoE for 5 mana and have a massive beater.  I guess you can hardcast maniac and mill for the win, but then you're really vulnerable to instants like bolt/bounce.  With worldly tutors, you can grab the LoE too, which you just have to slow draw the maniac.  I always play with tinker BSC as well so that 1) you can mill the deck on upkeep under a tangle wire and still win, and 2) you can just drop dual, crypt, tinker with insane counter backup to just win that way.  But BSC is not so good with maniac.  At any rate, I tried a similar list, updated from my old version - and while it consistantly goldfishes on turn 2 FTW, it is ridiculously fragile.  Magus of Moon, extirpate, any dredge hate, darkblast, pithing needle, revoker, lightning bolt, fire/ice, any spheres, chalice....all things that really just suck the wind out of your day.  My deck ran 4 misstep, 4 FoW, 2 daze, 4 therapy, 1 etruth, 1 claim MAINDECK - and it's still not enough.  For reference:

// Lands
    1  Bayou
    2  Misty Rainforest
    2  Verdant Catacombs
    1  Underground Sea
    1  City of Brass
    3  Tropical Island
    4  Cavern of Souls

// Creatures
    4 [JGC] Hermit Druid
    2  Narcomoeba
    1  Sutured Ghoul
    1 [ARB] Lord of Extinction
    1  Elvish Spirit Guide
    1  Blightsteel Colossus

// Spells
    1  Dread Return
    1  Tinker
    1  Dragon Breath
    1  Mox Pearl
    1  Mox Emerald
    1  Mox Jet
    1  Demonic Tutor
    1  Mox Ruby
    1  Mox Sapphire
    1  Lotus Petal
    1  Black Lotus
    2  Worldly Tutor
    1  Brainstorm
    1  Ancestral Recall
    1  Echoing Truth
    2  Daze
    2  Bridge from Below
    1  Careful Study
    4  Cabal Therapy
    1  Vampiric Tutor
    1 [JGC] Mana Crypt
    1  Nature's Claim
    4  Mental Misstep
    4  Force of Will

// Sideboard
SB: 3  Echoing Truth
SB: 3  Nature's Claim
SB: 2  Gorilla Shaman (1)
SB: 1  Darkblast
SB: 4  Pithing Needle
SB: 2  Hurkyl's Recall

It's retarded fast and consistent without an opponent - but against anything packing hate of any type, and you get rolled.  I also use 2 bridges over 4 narco because you net more creatures to therapy/return with bridges, and it stops the opponent from ruining your combo by killing narcos with an instant in response to narco triggers to put you under 3 critters.
