Apparently someone hacked morphling.de.

They have a post about it on their front page saying that if it happens again they are just going to take down the page. That's going to suck if they do. We are already low on vintage resources...


This is why we can't have nice things!  Lol

Lol wtf is the point of hacking that website other than to say that you hacked a website. Literally no hard value. But that sucks, its a great resource.

That's not true at all. There's a lot of value in hacking a site, especially an established one. You can inject drive-by browser attacks into the pages it serves so that visitors get infected.

Having trojans on installed computers is extremely profitable. You can direct a botnet to mass attack a website to bring it down, distribute spam emails, distribute illegal material, sniff your connection for passwords to anything you log into, sniff for credit card info, bounce connections off to disguise the source of future hacks...
