We had 27 come out last event for a recall. if we get more than that i will do something random for the swiss portion again. also thinking of running a side event once t8 is started. quick single elimination type deal. bring a friend or 2.
We have a fairly large shop with tons of singles, boosters, sleeves, etc... with lots of food in the area and bars too if that's your thing.
There will be house decks available as well. Not sure what they'll be but they will be competitive.
Let me know if there's anything you may need.
Cheers,
Calvin

For anyone that's interested, I live approximately an hour east of the venue along a very direct route.  If a caravan of no more than three other people would like to meet at my house at 10:30 AM that day and be driven the rest of the way, I'm more than happy to set up something.  I will not be double-booking this weekend, so no worries about an abrupt departure when I get tiebreaker'd out again.

I should be at this one assuming it's not a snow nightmare.

I plan on being there tomorrow. Won't be bringing any other players with me, though. (They're all traveling the opposite direction for a Legacy tournament.)

Glad to have you out again Ryan. Heard Kevin and the boys are on the way to Jupiter. Some others decided to go ptq(no names dropped but y'all know who). Hoping for a good turn out.

I did!  It was very tough though.  Merfolk is hard to beat.  Had to have perfect play and some lucky topdecks.

I'm not surprised Justin won.  I saw the first two games of the finals and Joel had a really good hand in game 2 but Justin was able to eke out the win.  I felt like if he could beat that hand that he had a really good chance of winning the third game.  Well done.

I made top 8 against all odds after going 0-2, winning a game where my opponent conceded without realizing I was Necro-locked, and Oathing my whole deck away for the loss with both of my creatures in the bottom 4 cards.  Sometimes it pays to not give up.

Overall this was a fun event and the prize support was really good (my sub-par showing was good for a Volcanic Island).  I'll likely be back for the next one.
