Hi. Just wanted to be 100% sure about this, because in a thread in the articles section, someone mentioned that a Show And Tell bringing in Phyrexian Metamorph can't copy the opponent's creature/artifact also being brought in by Show And Tell.

1. Is this true? If so or not so, why?

2. If it is, does this mean that if I play Show And Tell to bring in Emrakul, my opponent can't bring in, say, Gilded Drake or Sower Of Temptation to take the critter from me?

3. If 1 is true, but 2 is not, why is that?

Got it. That answers 1 pretty conclusively. But what about 2 and, by extension, 3?

I still ask because the wordings are rather different.

Metamorph says: "You may have [this] enter the battlefield as a copy..."

Drake/Sower say: "When [this] enters the battlefield..."

Given the Valakut discussion at the start of your link, would it be fair for me to say that yes, S and T would net my opponent a Sower AND my Emrakul, or am I missing something?

In the case of the Metamorph, you must make the decision of what to copy as (basically, before) it enters the battlefield, and by extension before Emrakul enters.  Sower and Drake have abilities which trigger when they enter the battlefield, and by that point Emrakul is already there to be targeted by them.

Edit: to be more explicit, Clone effects like Metamorph are usually templated that way so that, since they enter as a copy of a creature, they get that creature's come into play triggers.  Effects like Drake and Sower are targeted effects which use the stack, can be Stifled, etc.
