So now we're down to a bad Oversold Cemetary, vs. a win-more discard booster.

I can barely contain my excitement.

Yeah, this whole thing has been a ridiculous debacle. If Wizards can't see that they approved 10 awful cards for consideration then I really don't know what to say to that. It seems like the blind leading the blind there over at R & D sometimes. Ugh. For the record, my card would have been busted in Vintage if properly costed. It was:

Harr Mists

Enchantment

Spells you cast cost  {X} less to cast where  {X} is the storm count.

This is a simple and elegant card that would not have broken any other formats if costed at something like  {B} {B} {B} but would clearly have applications in Vintage Storm decks. Stephen Menendian's top 2 ideas were also quite good and neither got picked. I repeat, ridiculous.

This breaks my heart.

Consuming Contract was the only remaining design that sparked my interest.  The Megrim variant will likely win.  Megrim always has a ton of fans.

My feelings as well.  I'm not sure either of the remaining designs even see standard play unless they are costed very aggressively.

The repeating Raise Dead may actually be playable if costed at {B} IF they print a low CMC critter with flash and a relevant sac ability. It's not like it's hard to deal yourself damage with fetches.

Well, Megrim won.  So much for this contest producing a vintage card.

From Crucible to this, it appears the Magic community has gotten a bit less willing to embrace broken cards.

This may be a new piece of Dredge hate, if the mana cost is low enough.

But would it be better than what we already have? I think it could be. This card would help you defeat a Dredge pilot rather than just help you not lose.

Let's say it costs 1 black. Would it really be better than Planar Void?
They can still only use Bazaar 1-2 times and then dredge normally if they don't want to give you too many cards/dudes.

Dredge hate? Compost already exists. How is this better?
