I somewhat regret selling my Geists with this new change. I was planning on waiting until they had rotated out of Standard and picking them back up on the cheap. With these new rules (plus Modern, etc.), I'm unsure as to how much Geist may fall in price once it's no longer Standard-legal.

Then there's my playset of foil (& artist signed) Gaea's Cradle that I'd sold off several months ago… but I made so much value on them already, I'm happy. (I bought the playset for $90 back in 2009…)

You might still be fine on the gesits. the price doesn't look like its shooting up and it's not incredibly widely played in modern. It fights for slots with clique and reckoner (losing to clique in uw lists currently). Right now the format isn't particularly soft to him, there's probably going to be a rise in clasm effects for other reasons.

I fail to see how this change in the legendary rule makes Norin the Wary any better.

Why, the card is getting worse and worse in every format.  It's unplayed in vintage, down to a sideboard card in legacy, and not as good in modern anymore.  In modern, combo has been knocked down a notch, voice of resurgence is going to be everywhere.  If I still owned geist of saint traft I would be selling them with both hands.  

FYI, I launched my four foil ones for $180 after I noticed how good jund was in modern.  I'm very happy about it.
