I played this list at our last vintage which was a month ago:
Creature (7)

    4 Lodestone Golem
    3 Phyrexian Revoker

Lands (19)

    4 Ancient Tomb
    4 Mishra's Factory
    4 Mishra's Workshop
    1 Rishadan Port
    1 Strip Mine
    4 Wasteland
    1 Tolarian Academy
Spells (34)

    1 Black Lotus
    4 Chalice of the Void
    3 Crucible Of Worlds
    1 Mana Crypt
    1 Mox Emerald
    1 Mox Jet
    1 Mox Pearl
    1 Mox Ruby
    1 Mox Sapphire
    4 Smokestack
    1 Sol Ring
    4 Sphere of Resistance
    4 Tangle Wire
    2 Thorn of Amethyst
    1 Trinisphere
    2 Null Rod
    2 Pithing Needle

Sideboard
    4 Grafdigger's Cage
2 The Tabernacle at Pendrell Vale
    3 Tormod's Crypt
    3 Duplicant
    3 Maze of Ith

I think if I was to play today I'd:
-2 Pithing Needle
+2 Thorn of Amethyst

and maybe:
-4 Mishra's Factory
+4 Ghost Quarter

My meta is unlimited proxy so lots of shops and lots of young pyro decks.

If the meta is a lot of Shops and Pyromancer decks, I wouldn't play your list. I've found that the best card in both of those situations is Wurmcoil Engine.
I'd suggest going with the list I have posted with the report above except:
-3 Sphere of Resistance
-4 Tangle Wire
+3 Batterskull
+4 Steel Hellkite

This SUPER AGGRO shops deck really preys on Workshops and creatures, plus you have the resistors you need against the Pyromancers (Thorn, Lodestone, Trini). Just a suggestion, Good Luck with your Workshops!

Those are 7 cards I would never take out of my prison Shop deck. They are at the core of the advantages you are trying to gain with Smokestack.

If you are playing Prison, yes keep the deck the way that it is, but if you want an edge in the Shop mirror or against creature swarms like Pyromancer, Wurmcoil Engine and Batterskull fit the bill.

Those cards help the match up you reference, but you're cutting the wrong things. If we're forgoing Prison, we probably don't want Smokestack in our list. Needle is significantly less relevant and is probably better as Revoker. Crucible is significantly less relevant because we aren't feeding a Stack or pushing them under Sphere/Thorn/LSG.

Sphere is a solid card at all times. If we're afraid of creature swarms why are we leaving in Thorn? Furthermore, Wire is oppressive in the early game and very powerful. It buys the Shop pilot the necessary time to build a mana base to drop the 5-6 CMC spells you reference. Not every game is Shop Shop Bombs.

The deck to play in your meta game is likely Terra Nova. It will prevent the Pyro decks from chaining spells and punish the Shop decks for their mana decisions. Potentially include Null Rod.

I think you are looking at the list that I quoted instead of the deck I'm talking about. I'm talking about the deck I played with that has a tournament report in this thread, not the list I quoted.
