The situation is as following:

My opponent has bazaar and a land in play.

I play Show and Tell and put Griselbrand into play.
My opponent puts Animate Dead into play of Show targeting the Worldgorger Dragon in his grave.

In response to the animate trigger I draw 14 cards of Griselbrand including Natures Claim and a couple of FOW+bue cards.

My opponent asks if the animate trigger resolves, and because I have no green mana open (but do have lands capable of producing green mana) I say that it resolves.

After the first cycle of the combo I say I want to respond to the Dragon Trigger by useing Natures Claim on the animate dead. My opponent tells me that that won't do any good, but as far as I believe this stops the combo right there and then.

So what happens?

Thank you for the information.

That would work. If you did it in response to the trigger of removing the permanents, he would lose his entire board.

Yes, you can remove all your opponent's perms as cruel says, but that doesn't give you green mana.  the dragon combo only impacts your opponent's perms so if you are tapped out when he goes off you stay tapped out.

Of course, and this seems like the obvious situation being referenced, if your opponent had cast confiscate on your tropical island, it would then come back into play on your side untapped and the confiscate at the same time - then you could tap it for green before it got confiscated again and you could ruin your opponent's day with nature's claim.
