Hmmmm, i could play Standand for 9-10 rounds trying to beat out 400+ people for $2500 or 5 rounds of Vintage to try to win $700 against a field of 35+ people.  Simple math reveals the Top Deck event has much better odds of going home a winner and 100% odds of not having to play Standard all day.

Ev is better but sometimes you go for the spectacle. The more I think about it the more inclined to sling some type 2 cards

It's my friend's 21st birthday party the night before.  If I can get back from Manhattan in time and am able to function on a basic reading level, I should be there.

I am going Nick. I have room for you in my car. Ideally you could drive to my place and then we could head out? JP is coming as well, so if he could meet your or vice versa that would make things ideal. Please let me know.

You're a good man, Tom.  I got a message from Greg before this post, and he mentioned that he had one more spot in his car.  I really appreciate the offer, though I think I'll head out with him, as he lives around the corner.
