I was just looking for other people's thoughts on what cards you think will become "staples" in Commander, or at least very playable.

Since I play mono Green my list is fairly small but here it is:

Bow of Nylea- this card is just so versatile, reminds me of Primal Command

Karametra's Acolyte- probably the best ramp creature

Nylea, God of the Hunt- an indestructible way to give all my dudes Trample, and if I can generate infinite mana, is a win con by itself

Polukranos, World Eater- a way to wipe the board

Prophet of Krufix- this card might make me splash blue, changing my Commander to Edric or Momir Vig, it's such a strong card

Prixis of Pandemonium- this card just seems like a ton of fun

Nykthos, Shrine to Nix- another "Cradle" ability seems very strong

Well there is my list so far, lets see everyone else's.

We're not even at 50% of the full list!  Very Happy

I'm currently running Balthor, Karn, Melek, Mimeoplasm & Sheoldred though I'll be rebuilding Animar again.

Without any real thought given to what's there, these are the ones I saw were interesting at first glance:

Gift of Immortality - Sun Titan is such a big card in any W/x deck which makes this pretty bonkers. I'll have to wait on the FAQ for the answers to a couple of pressing questions, but there's very little downside. Then I'll have to build a W/x deck. Probably WB for that new Archon/Angel of Dispair lovechild, Ashen Rider.

Curse of Swine - Scale-able creature exile in Blue? Even without having a particular place to put this right now, it'll probably find a home in anything with blue.

Erebos possibly to replace Sheoldred. Read the Bones for the 99. Dark Betrayal for my heavy black metagame.

Gray Merchant of Asphodel is an amazing card for Balthor. He's all-zombie themed but was being forced to run cards like Replay in Kind and Exsainguinate for reach against some opponents. Gray Merchant of Asphodel is the answer to all those problems. Activating Balthor to gain 30+ life and put yourself in pole position is a huge effect on an uncommon zombie.

Purphoros, God of the Forge is the reason Animar is being rebuilt. Probably a second copy if I ever rebuild Krenko.

Prophet of Kruphix for Mimeoplasm.

The 3 'walkers for my collection and any other useful zombies that get printed.

Everything else is trade fodder.

Now that the entire set is spoiled, I'd like to add:

Voyaging Satyr- untaps lands even after mana flare effects is pretty sweet

Burnished Hart- I love ways to search out multiple Basics with 1 card

All in all it's a fun set and seems like a great set for Commander.

This is pretty huge. 3 activation is a bit high but it's both a dude and an explosive vegetation in one. Massive boost for non-G decks.
