Aaaand they today spoiled Order of Succession, which is essentially a sorcery Control Magic that does not target. Welp, didn't take long to see hate for this dork!
Not really. You give a critter for Nemesis, and your opponent switch back creatures. Only useful in multiplayer matches afaik. Nope, Nefaris is correct. The opponent has to choose a creature you control BEFORE the swap occurs. That means this card is almost a strict upgrade to Control Magic in a deck with few or no creatures, like, I dont know, blue decks in Vintage.

In that case Order of Succession is probably better than control magic, yes. But the only creature control that I have seen in ages is Sower, and it's not common at all.

Lousy little bastard should be White.
He's not ridiculously overpowered, he's just the wrong color. Iridescent Angel is snorting horse off the dead body of Paladin en-Vec, wishing all the bad thoughts would just go away.
I dunno how good Stoneblade is in Vintage, maybe this is a good card for that if it is a thing. You should feel welcome and able to just suit this guy up with your favorite unplayable Fat Pants and just crush someone's skull in.
With a Blue creature. :/

Blue's slice of the color pie is the ability to hack magic. Been that way since the beginning.

Vintage is a lovely format, it's too bad so few people can play because the supply of power is so small.
Chess really changed when they decided to stop making Queens and Bishops. I'm just glad I got my copies before the prices went crazy.

How does a card that makes Jace nearly irrelevant, is a moat against MUD, and opens up a Blue devotion deck in Vintage not seem surreal to everyone else? This card is too good, period.
Porcelain Legionnaire dies to Triskelion and Duplicant. This does not.
How is a single creature a moat? moat stops ALL creatures without flying....this blocks and kills things one at a time. if your opponent drops this, you slow your roll and wait for reinforcements/additional lock parts.

' Unless you are playing staff of nin, MUD decks don't draw as good as blue deck do.

If you are MUD and your opponent is playing 1UU permanents, I would guess usually you are in one of two situations:
1. It is early game and something has gone horribly wrong: your opponent sped way ahead with Lotus or on-color Moxen, you kept a hand very light on lock pieces, etc. The Nemesis will be another nail in the coffin, but somewhat win-more.
2. It is late game and your opponent went to significant efforts to disrupt your lock and hoard mana -- played Hurkyl's recall, cracked his Lotus, etc. If *this* guy is the best trump they could scrounge up to try to turn the game around, you're in pretty good shape.

Well if the blue player is in the play he only has to counter the shops first turn play and then he can make the 2nd land drop for UU and cast it

Okay. Let's say that the first drop of the shops player is countered, and then the blue player has the second land and mox for Nemesis. Then the shops player drops a Lodestone Golem, or a Smokestack, or a Tangle Wire. What then?
