Is there any chance we'd be able to get the list for the unpowered Humans deck that Kevin mentioned seeing in round 8? I have a couple of friends who really enjoy the deck, but don't own power (They're currently running the Gencon version with 4x Moxen proxied) and would like to participate in Sanctioned events.

The unpowered list was played by Matt Klinkhammer who split first place with Mayor Fish/Oath of Ghouls Humans in Lancaster the month prior.  I remember seeing a post by him in the Community Introduction section so he's on the Drain now and would probably be the best source for the unpowered list.

Interesting note as I'm listening, and I might add more later;  but the Vintage Championship was at least 75 players larger than the Paris Bazaar of Moxen in Paris that was going on at the same time.

at roughly 55:00, it was cutting out, but did you claim you developed Pitch Long?  I would highly dispute that factor, as it was 100% Team GWS and Eric Becker that developed it in 2006.

Just a brief note on the static/sound quality.

We actually fixed this problem by having me record the podcast on my end.  But apparently I had two recordings (one the full length, and one only the first 45 minutes), and I sent Kevin the wrong one, and by the time I saw his request for the other one, he had already edited the entire podcast and submitted it.

The first 45 minutes are clear though.

As always, please let us know what you think!  Kevin's interview is pretty cool!

Hey guys,
Great cast thanks, I've listened to it twice already to absorb it all in. I see you've already addressed the sound quality issues but I'd like to give a little more feedback. When you're recounting the on camera games Stephen it's clear you're reading from some play by play notes (or have an amazing recall if doing it from memory). When you're going through the play by play recap stuff could you slow down a little to let the listener catch up? Having not seen Kevin's feature match I found your recounting really hard to follow due to the speed and had to relisten to it 2-3 times to get it. I then went and watched that match and listened again, it made much more sense then.

Cheers for the cast guys

I think steve was saying he worked out a modern version with burning wishes and it was a bit unclear when he was going back and forth between his prep for champs and the history of the format.

Yeah - sorry for creating any confusion.  Had the audio  been clearer in that segment, I think it would have been.

We got a very late start because Kevin was playing some game with friends that ran long, and we had ALOT to cover, so I was speaking fast at times so we would have time to get through all of the material.  We wrapped up well after midnight my time, and I think the middle of the night his time.

I'm certain I didn't take credit for Pitch Long, but told the history of its emergence and then talked about my efforts to build Pitch Long last Fall (Fall, 2012) after Burning Wish was unrestricted, and why I couldn't make it work, and why I think it works now.
